Worldwide over Political parties compete in elections as either left or right of political spectrum.Left usually implies welfare policies with a socialistic attitude ,sometimes going to the extreme communist policy of forced distribution of wealth.Right usually implies a capitalistic approach with the attitude those who work harder and those who are willing to risk get the benefits.Nationalistic aspirations usually finds friends in the right wing circle, while environmentalists find friends in leftwing circle.friends i want your honest opinion on which is generally good for nations,or does it vary from place to place depending on their development status?

I want to add that left is more people oriented. While right is more materialistic oriented. The left cares about the rights of people, fairness, and equality where it is due. The right allows people to care more for themselves in a selfish sort of way. And it believes in dog eat dog, survival of the fittest. The left is "rules are made to be broken" if the rules are unfair or unreasonable. The right is "rules are made to be followed", even if they are unreasonable. I think a mix is good for nations. But most nations are so corrupted by past actions of their left, right, or left/right, that it doesn't seem to make a difference who is in charge because any progress on either side will be fought against "before" any results can take place. Being a Christian, of course I'm going to say that neither left or right alone are good for us at this stage in history.

Sorry for the late comment,i was wondering anybody would ever respond to such a vague political question at all.But what you said about both sides are correct, though it doesn't paint a wholesome picture.Since you said you were a Christian,i have one question for you,why do you think the Churches usually side with right wiong politics?
