what did you do yesterday to treat your mom for mother's day?

There were in a typhoon's direct path on mother's day. It was raining hard and flood was getting into the house. We spent the whole day taking our stuff from the floor and taking them up to elevated surfaces. Mother's Day wasn't entirely lost to us though. We greeted our mom and she cooked a delicious meal. She also made jelly as emergency supplies.

i am living far away from my mother. normaly I used to speak with her through skype with no cost. But yesterday her PC was off. so i took her a call and spoke a lot of time with her. Not bothering the telephone bill. she was so happy that I took a call extra for her.

Yesterday, actually it was sunny here, and we didn't go out celebrate, since my mom spend her vacation with my father. I just be home alone, and I still have to work during the weekend though. So, it was just me only.

We celebrate at home just bcos of heavy rain here due to typhoon so my sis cooked my moms favorite food and we eat together with all my families and one of my niece she is 4 yrs old she sang for my mom while we eating ice cream and cakes... we were all happy that day. :)

Previously we have not celebrated the mothers day. But this time we have decided to celebrate mothers day. We all i.e. my brother, sister, my wife and children gathered in the morning and decided to what to do. Our mother is not aware of mothers day, so, she asked what we are doing. We told her to take complete rest for the day and we look after all the things. Later, we prepared all the food items and brought a cake also. We made our mother cut the cake and had lunch together. We have given rest to our mother whole the day. We have celebrated mothers day this way. We feel happy that we have served our mother at least for one day.
