Wisdom of life is nothing but common sense and deep understanding of practical situations I would say. Even though, scientifically we have advanced a lot today, but somehow looking back at the olden days, I feel our forefathers were wiser than us. May be if we can go back to the Egyptian age of glory, or the Indus valley civilizations, or even the Aztecs and the Incas, we get a lot of insight into what they could formulate from simple observations without use of too much of technology. Coming nearer, let us say about 100 years or 200 years back, can you make a comparison of the amount of wisdom they had and what we have now?

The Bible according to Christians was written about 5000 years ago just a few years after the Creation. The authors were all University Grads with the equivalent of a grade 2 education. Of course these people were much wiser than us, because they were completely innocent of all the world's problems. The world at that time was flat, and if you got too close to the edge you could fall off. In 1905 my Grandad bought the farm where I am living now.I think he made a good choice, because My Son and Grandson are farming here today. I have not the slightest doubt that Grandad knew the world was round, else wise he would never have purchased this Farm. One of his most loved lines was, What comes Round, Goes Round!
