Well, I told myself last year this year when i got my income tax return I was going to buy a new lawn mower. because my yard is so big and since I cannot afford a riding mower I definitely need to stop wasting my time energy and money on used ones that I have to physically fight with to get going and then maybe be able to mow my lawn.
did I do this? No I did not. So now I am fighting with a lawn mower that looks more like frankensteins side kick and hopefully able to mow a small section throughout the day before it dies on me. And the sad thing is I could get a new one for around $100, but unfortunaetly I had to catch up on bills with my income tax return and I did not buy a new lawn mower. Thinking I would be able to wrok extra to get the fund for this. Well, meanwhile either due to the economy or whatever else reason at my job- a nursing home- census is low and they actually hired enough people to cover the shifts for the most part. So not many extra hours. And of course I am kicking myself right now. lol
So are there any mistakes you keep repeating over and over again in life?

My mistake I keep repeating might be the belief that I could get normal income working with my computer. Maybe I have to realize that it is just waist of my time. I keep on hoping, but if I do not succeed, I try some other job possibilites.

I always have these big ideas for my tax return too. And like you said, something always comes up and you spend it elsewhere on bills maybe and have nothing to show for it. I think this year I might go away for the weekend with it and then at least I've had a nice break for a few days. It's a little less boring than paying bills anyway. Unfortunately, there's always going to be another bill, doesn't matter what we do. My biggest repeat mistake is I drink too much then wake up in the morning and say "never again" and then do it the next Saturday night! I haven't got that much time on my hands that I can afford to sit around recovering from a hangover, and I curse myself for doing it!
