Does the material possessions can increase the quality of our lives?

I guess this question would depend on what makes each of us happy. If wealth and the acquision of things leads to one's happiness, then that is the path they follow. My belief is that life is a quality not quantity. True happiness is not often found in the pursuit of things. People can have remarkably little and still be very happy. This is a question of values and ideals and the answer will vary from person to person. Everyone has their own definition as to what makes them happy.

For most of us, yes. But most of do not know that we are actually attached to it so much that we forgot the basic thing in life. God told us not to love anything in the earth, though I forgot what verse was that. Because it would turn us to greedy people. It's true. I really believe that money is the root of all evil. If we could just stop this competition and all, I also wonder what'll happen to our society.

hello, This question make me really think?? Well, nowadays people are craving to it and even people have this 'possessions' they are not contented to it. This kind of people looks different to those ordinary one who are living in a simple and normal life because even they dont have this kind of possessions they still happy and contented of what they have but if a person already have this luxury they want more and they are possess to get this.
