Some years back , A person mentioned that he is the Messenger of God and he won't be having death ; The same person told after some days with ill health told that he will live till his 96th age , but he died at the age of 86 . Even before his last day he made message to people at the moment he dies he will take his next birth in a place called Karnataka . If we consider this , we will definitely know that hhe is a cheater . You know , the person who told this is 'Sai baba' , the owner of 150 ashrams all over the world and he has the property worth 1 and a half lakh crores .

Jesus warned us about false prophets; 15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. all the best urban

Hello friend , i meant to be telling that Jesus , would have also been in the same case , he would have been a Good guy , but he might have later exaggerated to be a Messenger of God .

No sorry, that doesn't really work. Jesus declares his own divinity If he is not divine then he is deluded or deceitful But such is not his nature, one cannot believe that this man is lying or deluded, therefore he is divine. Compare with others claiming divinity, is it unbelievable that they lie or are deluded? The person of whom you speak made claims that proved false, suggesting he was deluded or lied. Therefore the same is not true of him all the best urban

If you trust with a God, You won't believe with such think like that. Islam also has couple people who claimed that He or She was a new prophet, while it clearly that Muhammad was the last prophet.

As you say so , the Question i asked came from the Answer she gave , so God was the creator of the Question , but i think i am the creator of this discussion , so am i god ? I could rather believe in you than believing that non existing God

Sadly there are too many people who claim spiritual power and the like but are nothing but fakes. I have to wonder whether some of them actually believe their fantasy. There are also too many who charge for their so called psychic services but are nothing but frauds. It’s a shame because it takes away credibility from the very few who are legitimate.

Hi... I am an atheist and i have no faith on this fake prophets... if you say saint or yogi and you are doing everything for the sake of human... then i respect you... but if u say something random verses and try to prove that you are a avatar of god... then i call you a cheater. Just compare him with Ramdev or mother teressa... who did maximum for huamanism? have a nice day.

There are many cases like that. For example, a woman dreams of a happy family only to die early from AIDS. But there are also instances that what a person want is what he gets. Terrorist attacks in America ten years ago serve as proof or the one that happened in Mumbai not so long ago. It's just that there is payment for gain made. Sai baba might have considered 10 years as the payment.

All Godmen are conmen…as simple as that! Though I must add that I’m speaking of those Godmen whom we see around us today. You’re speaking of Sai Baba of Puthuparthi but I’ve heard that the actual Sai Baba of Sirdi was a real spiritual person. Similarly, I’ve heard of Sri Sri Ramkrishna Paramhansa, who was a similarly spiritual saint. Since I’m not an atheist but believe in spirituality, I do think there are people who are at a higher spiritual level than most of us and they can provide us with guidance and peace BUT can never perform any miracle…their spirit or soul has attained special powers thru meditation (I’m not sure how, but I believe firmly in this) and they use that power to heal the scars in people’s minds… also I’ve seen that such really spiritual people are never after money or fame or followers..they live simple, ascetic lives and speak very simply. Most Godmen, on the other hand, have lavish ashrams and expect their followers to make huge donations in lieu of favours. Sai Baba of Puthuparthy was such a person though its equally true that he has done a lot for the poor and needy with the money (but that really reflects the failure of our Govt, isn’t it?)

Stupidity gets in everywhere. No matter how successful or clever someone is they can still be very stupid about some things which is clearly illustrated in this case

Hello, I invite you to study the life of Mirza Ghulam Ahmed of Qadian, India. He claimed to be the promised messiah and reformer of the age. A prophet who was promised by The Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) and other great prophets of the past. He claimed that he was the the second coming of Jesus, but in spirit. If you want to know more on who he was, please go to www.alislam.org/topics/messiah/index.php
