I hav been working through oDesk for years and I love them. My last job paid me $72. It is possible to earn much more depending on your skills. I do basic data entry work, but folks with computer skills can earn a great deal of money. I have always been paid from them. I plan to work for them for many years into the future. Congrats on your first paycheck!

There are lots of jobs for article writing and also many for data entry, transcription, graphics, online assistants and many other types of jobs. I just love the site.

Wow. Good for you. I just signed up for odesk recently and I haven't really gotten myself to sign up or apply for any jobs. But I hope to soon. Thanks for your input.

Thanks. I knew there had to be some legit job sites on the internet. Glad to have finally found one.

Hi clrumfelt, cogratulations knowing that you are a regular "make Extra Money" earner from ODesk. Your story may encourage people to follow your path. But most probably this discussion may delete, because it refers to earning from a site.

I think they won't delete a discussion unless someone puts their referal link in the site name.

First sign up free on the site. Then pass the oDesk readiness test.{You can take it as many times as necessary for you to pass it) Then look throught the lists of jobs they offer and if you think you'd be able to do one of them, bid on it. You might get hired. They have lots of jobs available.
