No.. I'm not leaving myLot. but one site I discover another family and friends.. and even a lover!
Why will I leave? I don't know.. I just realize, I should.. I think my write ups are not yet enough to compare to the other seniors out there..
But I'll be back with my new personality, my new ability, with a new identity.. I won't tell anybody who I'm going to be when I join again..
Just a mystery effect!
I just wanted to improve everything in me, and that includes taking a break in that site... I would honestly miss them!
I just need to be good enough to be in line with them.. They're great!
How about you my fellow myLotters? Do you want to be renewed? I mean do you want to improve yourself?

Well ofcourse someone wants to improve herself/himself who doesn't? If i feel down and see myself as very small and i feel that i am very less of course i have to do something about it to improve myself if i had improve myself then i have a lot more of confidence.

Then do it, if you think that you will improve on the things you are doing right now, then who's blocking your way, do it girl...

We should continue to improve our self everyday not because we want to impress others but we wanted to be a better person inside and out. Learning is a continuous process, we should be ready for it everyday of our lives.

Hi there, good to hear that you wanted to improve yourself. as for me, likewise. There is a myriad of things that i wanted to enhance particularly my personality/attitude. I have been pessimistic these past few months. I always thought that I am incapable of doing things, that I am weak person, I tend to get irritated easily, i am scared of not getting what my heart truly desires, etc... probably, my ailment has something to do about it. it has been making my life quite miserable for years. I wanted to work offline but i just can't... :( i hope God would grant me the healing I have been praying for so long so I could get my life back.

Sounds like you're more unhappy with the way you're perceived than a desire to change. Hence the "secret identity". Sometimes, pressure from other people just gets too much: you've built a persona and you're sick of wearing the mask for everyone else. You just want them to leave you alone.
It's easier to take a few days off and come back fresh, as the same or a different person, than it is to leave. Why should you leave? Wouldn't it be better for people to see the new you and accept it than to hide under a new name?

Thanks. I've been in the same position in online situations, which is why I mentioned it. Sometimes, it's good to have a private persona and a public one, to give you time to get away from chatting when you just want a bit of peace and quiet.

I think you don't have to leave. If you could pick a couple days to write while you are in your discovery, you will see first hand the growth. Try not to be too hard on yourself. Sometimes we need inspiration to write. There are a rainbow of things that would make for some great topics and discussion. Try journaling in between writing here on my lot. This way you can take the ideas you think are pretty darn good and transfer these ideas here. Good luck to you!

Well, when I am faced with a tough decision. I sit down and write the pros and cons. I as well write down a variety of solutions and then rate the importance of it. Here is an example..( 1-least important 5- fairly important 10- very important)
Problem: Should I write another book?
Pros
It could help me expand on the first one--7
I would at least have some ideas down on paper to expand on later--10
This might lead to an agent, if said agent knows that I am working on a second--8
Cons
The first one isn't published yet--5
Do I really have the time to sit and write another one?--6
What if the first one doesn't get published?--7
So you see, writing is part of you. It is better to keep writing, so you will not lose your edge. This will as well help not to fall into writers block. if you need anything else, I am here!

I understand how you feel. I am a new member. This is the first discussion that I pulled up right after I tried uploading a picture for more than five times. Whew! I am always receiving an error message.
edsss17, I always believe that we should follow our instinct. If you feel that you need a break, go for it. If you feel that you need to concentrate more on another site, you can always do it. You cannot force yourself to stay here if you feel you don't want anymore. I respect your decision.
Always remember that it's not only the quality of your posts that matter in any sites. The most important thing is your patience and dedication. If these two are not present, you can never be successful.

Of course. Negative comments are gifts. Without them, you will not be challenged to excel. Without these negative comments, all of us will think that we are all perfect.
Thank you for welcoming me here. I really appreciate it. I have already read all the terms and conditions, the FAQs, and so many others, but I feel I still need to review all of them for I already forgot most of what I read. I am aiming for the best, and I will do my best everytime I am here.

Improving is always a good thing and do not stop. Once I found myself with that status. I decided to renew myself and I love the new me. I realized many things and able to discover my skills which I never knew that I can. It is great to get out of your comfort zone and try new things.

Hi maean,
I wanted to improve my skills in writing and stuffs, that's why I need to leave that site for a moment, to take other opportunities in the real world and might help me improve my skills.
I'm trying to be confident with myself and the stuffs I do.

I have 2 identities on the social network that I love to go on. One is for family and close friends. The other I use an alias. It helps me to be free to say what I want without being judged or chastised. By no means does that mean that I act out of character and say crazy things. But I like having opinions that I can express without the comments from those who really know me!

?do you improve yourself by hiding your identity -
no/yes
do you want to be renewed?
no/yes
don't feel like this is a way renewing yourself I don't think that anyone actually has a fabricated identity more like a identity conformed to others , so there is no identity where you have to replace yourself , each single entity is a double influence
(-hard to understand , that is like if you are identical subjects the identity without the influence is not an identity - cause and effect or the energy theory )
