Can you tell how much you get per response or item?

Thanks for any advice or info you can provide me with. I am just getting started with MyLot and looking for the best way to earn a little extra money, while engaging in some converstations and learning new things. Responses - Can you tell how much you get per response? Do your responses all get a standard amount or is it how detailed of an answer you respond with? Searches - whenever I do search it never pulls anything up? Any suggestions. I must be doing something wrong? Upload photos - How much do you earn for uploading photos? Do the amounts differ? If someone else uses an ikon that you uploaded, do you get more credit? Thanks again for any information you can provide. Also, any additional ways you have found to add up the cents, please feel free to add into your responses.

There is NO fixed rate for anything here. Earnings depend on many factors. For example quality of your posts and the value of your star which you will receive at 100. If others upload an image that you have already uploaded then it is liable for deletion because we are not supposed to upload those which have already been used. Please take your time to read the FAQs and Guidelines because until you read them you will not be getting the best out of your time here. http://www.mylot.com/o/mylot.aspx

Thank you very much! I appreciate your suggestions! Thanks for responding. I did read them briefly, but now I need to go back and read them in a little more detail. Thank you! :-)

Mysd - have they put you on a commission for answering this question yet? I vote we have a new category listing for "posts with the most repeated answers".

Sue I keep responding because I just want everyone to enjoy their rime here as much as I do. It always amazes me that anyone can start using a site without being aware of how things work but, even though I lose many of these posts because the topics are deleted, I know that it is useful information for many, therefore I continue

Thanks for your direction. I appreciate it! I was not quite sure how the search engine part of it worked, though. Thanks for your friendly welcome and your patience in explaining it.

You have gotten good answers. Many of them are standard answers. We all often tell new people that you will earn more when you are having fun. Respond to discussions, and comment on responses when you have something to say. The rewards for searching are random. I think some run into more rewards than others. I do not think too much about how much I am earning, but I have been here since right after the site started. I did worry when I was new. I learn everyday here. I learn from people who are newer here than me and I have fun.
