I have some great links up on my profile if you would like to check them out. Some are survey sites and others are for transcription. Through my work at home search I found that the transcription route is the best way to go as they don't require up front costs and the pay out is really great as well. One of them does give you a warning that the site is unsafe for some reason but I have by passed that on my personal computer and done really well with them and did not get a virus. I have also written the site about this message I get when trying to log on and they said they will look into it. So if you would like to check it out it is a great site and the pay is really good too. Best of luck to you and hope you find a good fit for you.

Have a look through previous discussions in this category (and similar ones). There's a TON of useful info here from very helpful people. You've got the first rule already: never pay them, they should pay you!
The freelance sites (as mentioned previously by someone) are the best way to earn quickly: it's like normal work.
I have a free beginner's guide in my profile that might give you more ideas. I write, so it's mostly around that side of things but it covers most of the basics apart from affiliate marketing, since I don't get on with that.
