How do you think about using two phones, one for family and another for work?

I've seen more and more people around me use two or even more cell phones.
One phone is used for family communication. Maybe they want privacy and not to be disturbed during their home time, I guess.
And another is just for work.
I think it is reasonable to separate work time from family time.
What's your opinion? Plz share with me~

Yes, you are correct. It is done in order to preserve our privacy and peace.
I also use two cellphones, one for office and one for family. Whenever I am off duty, I generally switch off the office phone so that there will be no disturbance until next working day. This helps me to give more time to my family and friends.
It is also very beneficial for people who are in marketing field because their cellphone keeps ringing every time even at night when they are off work. This helps them to take proper rest before they start working for the next day.

Yes, it is quite reasonable to separate those two.. but having two phones is quite a hassle. Maybe having 2 sims will do. And just buy a dual sim phone, then they can just remove the sim card at home if they don't want to be disturbed.

I'm thinking you're going to end up with a high "Batman Factor" if you're going to be carrying multiple phones and gadgets around with you all day long to stay in contact with everyone in your business and social lives...You're Maybe better off with one of these dual SIM capable phones that would let you combine the work and family communications into one unit...Or,many phones now have the option of different ringtones to be programmed that you could give your friends and family their own unique tone, and keep business separate in that way..as they say,it's your call..

I'm not a business man or anything, so I can't say I would have any need for 2 cell phones.
If anything it would just be a hassle having to carry 2 phones everywhere. I can just give my work my home phone number if keeping my cell phone number away from them is an issue.

To each his own. People can do that depending on their preferences. But for me, having another phone would just be an unnecessary expense for my family. So it is okay if I only have one phone. There are phones however that you can have a dual sim. So it is at your option if you want to use the other for work and the other for your family. I think this option is cheaper than buying 2 phones.

It does make sense for those who work outside of the home, but for me, having two cell phones, wouldn't be beneficial whatsoever. I live alone, so all I need it just one phone. I use it basically to talk to my daughter everyday, and my ex husband as well. I don't know what I would do without my cell pho0ne, as it is one peice of technology that I would be lost if I didn't have it. Take care, and have a good day.

In the PH, people have multiple phones per telco. Work phones are usually given by the office.
I have 3 mobile phones, but I'm just using one right now. My friend borrowed the other one, and my other phone is locked to specific telco, but my extra sim card is from a different telco.
It is good to separate work from family time, after all, you are working for your family, you should spend time with them as well. Money isn't enough compensation for affection

i guess if a separate phone is essential to your line of work, it would be best to have another one for your personal life. it would be much organize and it your personal and work life will have the boundary.

I do find people or myself having two phones. It would be because having to phones would be a waste of money on buying it and of course electricity for charging up those two phones. If I were to suggest, I would buy a phone with dual sim to make it easier to bring one phone than two of it.
