Technology is not our friend. My iPhone crapped, and I have to go to the Apple
Store tomorrow in Toronto, to get it fixed or replaced. Walker just
spilled 40 OZ of water into his keyboard, after he threw out our spare,
in an effort to get this place organized. And he can't connect to the
...internet either. I told him to use my computer anytime, since I can do
just about anything with my iPhone when its fixed.

Leah! 40 ounces? Ouch! Kristen's iphone got chunked in the toilet by my 14 month old granddaughter. She jerked it out of Aunt Krissy's hand and when she tried to take it back, Pate decided to throw it. Splash....would have been 3 points nothing but net! LOL
Hope you get it replaced soon. I had an extra keyboard, but it's back in Arkansas in my yard sale stuff...do you want me to see if I can get the girls to dig it out and send it to you?

aMy son in law used to no pay attention to where his phone was and he'd lay it down and his daughter 2 years old, would pick it up and start chewing on it during teething time! Slobber into the battery and there goes the phone! He had to get a new phone 3 TIMES before it got into his stupid head not to lay it where she can get it!

hi danishcanadian water is the foe of keyboards for sure.I spilled part of a coke in mine one time and my son managed to get it dried out but sadly certain keys went kerflooey and evenually he managed to find me a new key board. that day was sort of funny. after he managed to irk me by sayin did you not know spilling fluid in a keyboard is bad for it? all snotty like.well I went into his bedroom to hand him his mail and he
was sipping on green tea. He caught the glass with his elbow and of course it went right into his keyboard.I smiled and said, very innocently
"Did you no know fluid spilled in a keyboard is bad for it?" He looked '
at me and then we both laughed.oh my 40 ounces of water will really do some damage too. I phones must really be something and i am getting envious of people with them.

When they work properly, they're wonderful. When they don't, you're right.

I just have a generic cell and only use it when I have a child in tow for my kids. Other than that, you'll just have to call me on my landline!
But I agree, seriously, that technology has gotten out of hand and to in--your-face common and unecessary. For instance...I was in the craft store the other day...and now that you can put coupons on your cell and just show the clerk that (or however that works) and i was behind this woman that was fiddling with her cell. I didn't pay attention..that is all anyone does is fiddle with their cells instead oaf paying attention to what they are doing.... but.... she was next and turned to me and said..."you can go ahead of me, my cell is not working right and I can't pull up the coupon." I went ahead with me PRINTED ON PAPER coupon and was in and out in seconds!

That really sucks to hear, but technology is our friend when you know how to keep it in good use. Rest assure when you get everything taken care of you'll be smartphone and computer savvy again. Good Luck.
