There was a traditional education system where more emphasis was laid in making student more resource full and impart quality education. But now there has been emphasis in making education system more professional so that a student understands professionalism culture and adept itself to any particular profession from his early days. Its not a good sign as per me. What do you think about this. It just kills the creative part of education system.

I don't really get what you're complaining about, would you rather have your kids be treated as if they're children than be treated as professionals? Would you have them treat your kids like they're babies instead of being trained to be a professional in how they treat everyone else? I don't really see your point of view here, perhaps there's a need for more information on what particularly you are complaining about. I am an educator, and am teaching in a University, I'm teaching college students and I treat them as professionals. I guide them to make good decisions instead of me making the decisions for them, I try to make the class activities as real as how it is in the real world. Afterall, life is not fairy tales and happy endings, there's far more professionalism needed to be successful.

I am with you in the call of professionalism in school, especially in the college level when students are getting ready to get out, explore the world and land a job. The world is not exactly kind to the gullible student who has no knowledge of facing the real world and the harsh reality it brings. I know that schools are basically training grounds for young minds and technically, it will serve it's purpose better if a school incorporates and teaches professionalism in its students. Young people should be treated as professionals. If not, how could they stand and make decisions on their own? They have enough education in staying at school and learning the ropes. Treating them with kid gloves isn't going to help them in reality. Besides, they are of age, they should be treated as they deserved and act responsibly. No one gets to be treated like a kid on an entire life.

I don't think it's a problem that the education system is pushing for more professionalism out of student. In fact, I think it's a good thing. But I'm not sure that's what you're asking. I don't think that teaching a student to adapt to any particular profession would kill the creative part of education. I think it would expand on it, because students could learn more and learn how to adapt what they're learning to any situation.
