I am not faithful when it comes to horoscope thu i believed in stars and it's connection to human or individual's characteristics. But when i received my horoscope sent by a loving father who gave effort to read my stars from my date of birth, place and time -it really amazes me with the accuracy. I keep reading the 7 pages that was sent to by my dada and can't believed i am reading myself. Dear mylotters,do you believe in astrology, stars, horoscope and how it affects your lives? Have you ever tried to consult an astrologer? Have a great day everyone And thanks to Professor -my dada and maa from the other part of the globe

Hi di Of course I believe in those Stars, astrology and was myself an ardent student of that science a few years ago... I believe more in palmistry though as it is not that mathematical but still astrology is good to know what your day is going to be... But like all sciences, you have to get to a real person who is not that commercial and knows his job. The ones who are sitting on the roads or out there for making money - they are normally fake - like my cousin brother in law who believes in much more than he knows - He is blessed with a great art - speaking and convincing - so always finds a way out even when he is caught red handed... like once he was telling me that I got divorced at the age of 25... I wasnt married until I was 32

i used to read horoscopes before i was born(spiritually). i noticed that it only states "general facts". never encountered specific horoscopes like "today, you will meet your soulmate(if there is such) at your doorstep." it always says things like "smile and you'll have a brighter day ahead of you.." you don't even need a "common sense" to comprehend that..i mean even if your not under that particular zodiac sign that tells you to smile, you'll still have a brighter day ahead of you when you smile..(get my point..?) =D also most of them don't actually happen to all the people under that specific zodiac sign.. well maybe stars can tell us something. but i don't see any major connection of stars to human lives..

Hi Jaiho! No, I don't believed in such things. What will happen they will happen in the future. Like what we always heard 'Que Sera Sera', what will be will be~ About the personality, change the bad and develop the good attitude.

well, that's another story-relying the future with those fortune teller. I don't and never rely...i just read the connection with stars formation with each characters and and behavior..nothing more. No one knows about tomorrow- we never even knows if tomorrow ever comes.(^_^)

Some fortune teller used astrology concepts too~ Nowadays we have modern fortune teller. They called it as metaphysics of science and they tell your personality and your future based on your birth-date, your name, your symbols(fire, water, etc) etc. They say they don't predict the future it just tells more about your personality and how you can achieve success in your future. Honestly I don't understand it and I don't want to rely myself on it~

well it's not relying. The 7 pages that i received almost 8 pages to be exact is not all about future. What amazes me is...is my past and my character which is 98% accurate. In that 7 pages...my past life is there and it does happen...as if i am reading myself and my past behind... so...when will be our next date eh?

sometimes i am curious to know what the stars say about me. but i leave it at that. somehow i believe that people make his own fate, because of the choices he makes in life. i have never consulted an astrologer ever. but there would be times that i would read some horoscopes before at the start of the year. but i was once disillusioned by the fact that a columnist once told that the horoscope section of a reputable local newspaper, already has horoscopes made for years and they just copy it repeatedly over time. regardless of what one may believe in or not, one should not rely on predictions alone to dictate the outcomes of one's life. if prediction spelled danger, then there's no harm in being cautious. if prediction makes good sense, then why not. i'd say, to each his own beliefs. have a great evening!

myles dear, It's true,we are the designer of our own future. God never put an ending to what we will become soon as we are born. We can make changes from what is destined for us. Like how criminals changed and become a good person after doing so many bad things. No one is destined to be a criminal once he/she is born- circumstances and people around him/her sometimes plays a big part on it. Same thing with our life, future and present. We cannot travel back in time to correct our mistakes, but we are given a chance to do it now or in the future. Anyway...i won't let this chance pass by "wedding bells"

A good friend of mine is a professional astologer, and I find it quite revealing when I hae talked with him. However, I don't feel that astrology is like fortune-telling, telling you the future, as the future doesn't yet exist. There is only now. Astology is however, as way of getting you to examine your inner character and personality and in that way, you can know the best action to take. It is an intuitive procedure in my opinion, that can be quite valuable. Many astrolgical analysis you can get off a computer, can be very generalised and then you have to see value from reflection on what it being said. As a Zen practitioner, I have meditated every day for well over 30 years and that is a form of self-examination in the way that astrology can be used. We each have the truth about ouselves within, and we need to expose this into our awareness. _Derek

hello jaiho! I don't really believe on such things but I do enjoy reading my horoscopes. Although I don't believe on it, I am always amazed when I read things that I think suits on my characteristics as a person. I remember that I even get interested on palm reading, numerology, and a lot of things related to it...but that was back in college that I even buy some books/pamphlets related to such things. It's fun reading those things and that's something that interest me.

Astrology is in the bible...the stars formation and everything and how it affects a person's personality and characteristics. It's so amazing to know those details and i am so even amazed to read about astrology. hope you are fine my dear amiga and see you again

I believe horoscopes are there to guide us in our daily activities. To some point, predictions may be correct or accurate especially regarding personality types. As to making decisions, we have to think things through and not just rely on the stars.

hello mac, No,we don't need to rely on our horoscope. We are the one who's making our future, building our own future. But astrology is something that connects with our behavior and characteristics. We may find it unreal, but we must admit some of it are true and matches our behavior aint? Don't make your horoscope as daily basis to rely, but sometimes listens to your inner feelings, your instinct it maybe giving you some warning. Thanks for your response and have a good day

Hi jaiho!^^ Wow, you have an astrologist for a father??? I think that's cool. But I don't really believe in astrology. I read my horoscope when I see a newspaper or when I stumble upon one in the internet but I'm reading it just for the fun of it. I get amused when the horoscope coincides with what's happening in my life but somehow I can't really believe it. I mean, I'm not the kind that faithfully reads my horoscope everyday and take it as an advice as to what I should do for the day. I think it's too much of a hassle to depend on something, it's like you're not free to do anything you want for a day. Well, that's how I think.^^ Cheers.

While I admint I receive and read the Daily Horoscope in my mailbox, I am skeptical about it. i ask myself how come they say they can predict this and this happening to me and for me, but yet half of it never occurs So until it comes true for me, i guess I will just read for the jokes.

When I was younger I believed in that stuff too much. I paid a lot of money to have my cards read and my tea leaves read and my palm read. I believed in all of it. I read my horoscope that was written just for me, like you are speaking of, ever day, and paid good money to have it written up. I believed my horoscope to the point that I planned my week around it sometimes. If my horoscope said I was going to have a bad day I believed it and would stick around the house because I was afraid to go out. This went on with me for about 20 years of my life. And then one day I was shopping in the mall when I came across a woman at the mall with a table set up and she was reading tarot cards and the line up infront of her was about 30 people and I stood in line for 3 hours till I got to the front, close enough to the front, to see the card reader was my aunty, my aunty, as in my father's sister. She was no more a tarot card reader than I was. So of course when it came to my turn I sat infront of her and she looked up at me and was shocked to see me. She asked if I could leave and she would phone me when she got home later. I didn't want to cause I scene so I left. She did phone me later in the evening and explained to me that she was a physic now and that she hid it from the family because she didn't want to try to explain to us that she was doing this to earn a living as she was having money problems because her husband, my uncle, left her. She took a six week course and got a certificate saying she was a physic so she could do it legally. She couldn't tell the future anymore than you could or I could. So I no longer believe in any of it anymore, it's all just a way for people to earn money.

hello chris, Good for you my friend. Yes,we are the architect of our own future. Thu the astrology and constellation/stars has something to do with ones characters and behavior with each individual...still we should rely on everything that we read. We can changed from good person to a bad ones,or the criminal still has the chance to live as normal and be a good human being. It all depends on us...how we look on this life that we have, and plan for our own future to have. thanks for your response and sharing this story and experience here. have a great weekend

I liked astrology because it helped in conversations with the women. I had at least two lady friends who were astrologers. In the early seventies I bought this book that showed how fake astrology was. The book showed how the astrologer used an "ancient" chart. The problem with using this chart that according to Wiki, "relative positions of celestial bodies causes destiny..." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astrology) is that the charts were made thousands of years ago. Thousands of years ago, the stars were in those positions on that chart. But thousands of years later, the "celestial bodies" are in a different postion. So predicting someone's destiny by a chart thousands of years ago is saying someone is scorpio when he isn't. For example, Polaris, the North Star, was not the North Star thousands of years ago. Yet, astrology is fun to talk about.

hello Rob, Maybe this really a great subject to discuss and also interesting like what you have wrote there that the stars positioning changed as years passed by. Then,it might give us result to as why kids these days are not the same with those who are born 2 decades ago (might be right?) Kids now are soooo far different compared to those who were born decades ago. thanks for your response and have a good day always
