Have you thought or watched something related to water lately? or ever wanted to swim and didn't think about it or had it inside your subconscious from a long long time.
You know, our subconscious loves to store the very idea of all the special stuff that is closely related to you, like not you sister or brother but just the idea of a sister and brother. After you refresh that stuff consciously through any intricate view and while you dream, the subconscious rummages through its storage to solve that very intricate puzzle you saw today, which might result in your weird behavior or attitude when you wake up or may also result in a dream, like the one you had.

I am a non-believer in this subject mostly due to the problematic responses of generalization. Like horoscopes (which are already immediately wrong) dream interpretations are generalized to fit something you can latch onto. Truth is we don't know what dreams are or why we have them, but even animals have dreams and to our knowledge we know animals do not posses the same cognitive thought of reality as we do so how do their dreams mean something? Also dreams can be started by something on your mind that day such as problems, thoughts, or anything really, but we don't know why they occur. It is better not to get sucked into things people claim in that and most time the answers you get will be different.

Hi. shireenrjn. Welcome to myLot! I am not so sure what this dream really meant. But here are a few website links that could probably tell you the meaning of your dream. I hope that these websites help you.

I tend to subscribe to the theory that dreams have no symbolic, subconscious, or prophetic meaning. That they're just the mind drawing sights and sounds from random nerve firings in the brain during sleep. (It's a scientific theory, you can look it up.) I don't think it's a complete theory, but it's the one I agree with the most.
I've read lots of books about dream interpretation and ultimately I think they're too much like horoscopes. (I know the first poster already said this, but I've been saying it for years now... so I'm going to say it again. lol) They play on generalization, common wants and weaknesses, and they can stretch to fit almost any situation. In other words, it's just generalized hogwash.
I'm very interested in dreams, but not because I think they have "meaning". I think they're very interesting, a great outlet for creativity, and they can be vastly entertaining.
