I go playing Chinese chess blindly again!

China

Hi,myLotters! You may have seen that I haven't been so active as before. I've been busy with caring about my orange grove recently. On the other hand, and the main reason is,I've been really feeling frustrated with one thing:One of my Chinese myLotters told me that each time withdrawing the payment from the bank I have to pay 35 dollars for it!My,when can I earn this 35 dollars just by posting?!I am so disappointed. Since I can't earn a lot,I don't have to spend too much time here,so I sometimes go playing chess as before again, though I seldom win.But my friends,I'll come here everyday to see you if I have time.

Oldsix691418, I believe you can actually work around this problem by opting for a higher minimum payout so that you will not feel the pinch from the service fee on your withdrawal. On the other hand, you may want to consider opening a bank account in Hong Kong which charges much lower than an account in China which you are presently having. Last but not least, you may want to leave the monies in Paypal and use it when you buy something online like eBay. Think about it and hope your chess game improves with time.

Oldsix691418, I just want to advise against your idea of keeping the amounts inside your PayPal for such a considerable time. For one, PayPal is not a bank and as such does not have any legal obligations to remain as a bona fide establishment in any country. Unlike the banks in your country, which has obligation to your personal money when they are being deregulated by your country or the online community. So, try and use it or withdraw your hard earned money. Thanks for the BR and you have a nice day.

Ok,I'll verify the service fee as soon as possible and decide if I'll withdraw the payout when I reach the second minimum earning.

Actually I don't want to leave here since there are so many good friends at myLot.I'll do my best to reach the second minimum payout as soon as possible. I don't think I can open a bank account in Hongkong since I have no families or relatives living there, and I don't want to bother the others, either. Yes,I really don't want to touch all the payout until someday in some or even 10 years, then maybe there'll be less trouble. Thanks a lot for all your help,my friend.

That is to withdraw the funds from your paypal account via your bank I presume? I know it does not give you as much choice over how to spend your paypal funds, but can you use them straight from your Paypal account and not pay a fee?

i face the same problem and i am now striving the ways out ,you are giving a very practical suggestion may be i could sent my money to my sister since she is abroad and without need to pay any fee when withdrawing....
@GreenMoo (11834)

that seems like a real sensible solution.

Hi,Greenmoo! You are right. The fee is for transfering the funds from the paypal account to a bank account in China.I really haven't anyone from abroad to help me,but even if I had one,I didn't want to bother him or her for the tiny money.

I find it hard to believe that they want you to pay $35 to withdraw your money to your bank. Have you verified that? Is it the bank that charges that or paypal? Not to say it isn't true, but don't lose hope. If you look at this as a way to relax and have fun and that the money is a bonus, it won't seem so bad. If you wait until you have a large amount in your account ($50 or more) then it won't seem so bad. Is that something you might consider? And there is nothing wrong with going and playing chess either because you can be with real people instead of just writing response to other people's discussions. Have fun!!!

I guess the main thing is to continue to have fun doing this. Before you know it you will have a large amount of money in your account and you can transfer it to paypal and then to your banks account. Although the money is nice, it isn't everything! Keep on keeping on!

Hi,daeckardt!I learned about that from a discussion of one of the myLotters in China, but I didn't verify it.And she said that I had to pay $35 for transfering the payment from the Paypal account to a bank account in China when I withdrew the payout each time.Yes,if so,I'd better postpone it to some day when I become a myLotting millionaire, haha. Ok,I just have the earning from doing myLotting as a bonus, then it's very fine.At the beginning I really considered that I would come here for knowledge, fun and friends,I shouldn't change my mind. I know there are tons of real friends at myLot,and I am sure that I'm one of your real friends as long as you can accept.Take good care!

How is your orange grove smelling these days? Lovely I am sure. If you post on several sites and work hard you can get the money. I used to play chinese checkers and really enjoyed the games. You can have several players and really have a grand time. It is a pretty fun game to play.

Hope your oranges do okay. Rain should be good for them. I can't remember all the moves in chess. My mind doesn't work very good anymore.

Hehe, these trees don't like too much rain, raining too often will lead to lots of fruits dropping.

Oh,the young fruits have almost all fallen off the trees for so many rainings these days, and now it's still raining here, the heavy rain began at about 11:30 pm yesterday, this noon it rained lightly. Sometimes it's quite funny to play chess game,I like it.

Wow when I hear about the restrictions with your countries rules and Paypal it makes me sad. Sad because it does not seem fair to pay such high amounts to get your own money. I am wondering if you can use your money for perhaps things you need directly from Paypal for online purchases instead of paying the fees. I am sorry that you have to go through this and wished things were equally fair as with so many other countries. I am on another note glad to hear that you keep yourself busy with your hobbies, like chess. I hope to see you soon.

I really think that the service fee is too high. So far I still haven't registered a Paypal account yet because the first minimum payout is rather tiny, certainly I haven't bought anything directly from Paypal. I'll not leave the payment until someday it becomes a big sum, haha.I will come here every day.

I didn't know that, anyway how big is the accumulated sum should be to compensate the service, I hope I still can type to deliver my postings,

i thought maybe you were a professor or an english teacher or so coz you have very professional and native expressions here.Unexpectedly you have a orange grove of your own,you are wonderful.and what a coincidence that my family have pear grove as yours and we rely on them...you like playing chinese chess and my father have the same hobby and he can sit in front of the computer a whole day long except have dinner...he is often on the "ourgame"website and have a nick name of "Sha Monk" and if you log in on that website you have chance to compete with him,he is quite obsessd about chess since i can remember...

Please don't flatter immensely,I'm just a countryside man who has to do some farming after work, hehe. And I am just learning to plant some honey orange trees in my grove,I don't know if I can have a harvest or not for my bad managing skills. I love playing Chinese chess, but I am not good at it,and I don't think I dare to play it with your dad,of course maybe I'll meet him, thank you for your warm inviting.I just play chess in my QQ.

Hello again oldsix, the issue you point here, is completely new for me, I didnĀ“t knew about any fee for withdrawing money from a paypal account, still, I guess that I can use the money directly from the account, avoiding pay any fee, I hope it can be a solution.
• China
13 May 11
Yes,I think the solution that you mentioned here is quite a good way,I'll try it when I have a Paypal account.

I'm not as active for the past month as well due to my work. I'm surprise to hear that u have to pay 35dollars in order to withdraw mylot's payment from the bank? WHy? It's your own money so how can the bank charge u for that? Even if it's adminstrative charges, it should not be so much either. U should call the bank to ask about it, because what your friend said might not be true. The bank might have an alternative for u.

I hope what she said is not true, and she said that's a transfering service fee,I'll verify what she told me soon. Many thanks!

That's why we shouldn't focus here to earn money, but to earn friends and just enjoying, like what i am doing, it frustrates me to think that i have only earn 4$ in 6 months now, well, because i am not always opening mylot and i am not always participating discussions...
