What do you think about Philippines?

Philippines is the country where I come from.I always hear that from other country's point of view that the Philippines is a good destination for a vacation because of the 7107 islands that composes it. I also heard that other people get scared because of the rumors that terrorists inhibit this country. I have lived 22 years of my life here in Mindanao, Philippines and i have not seen those terrorists that people claim to be here. I am just curious what are your ideas on my country the Philippines, especially the island of Mindanao?
