What Happens After Upgrading On A PTC Site Such As ClixSense?

I never thought I'd be saying this as I vowed never to get involved in such sites. I only tend to stick to the basic, free memberships. That way, if a site scams (such as a Bux site) I haven't lost any money..just the annoyance of clicking on ads that I would be doing anyway 'cos I'm bored lol. Not all day, I might add! However, I do know of sites that I may be interested in regarding upgrades as they have built up a good reputation but I am scared to take the plunge as I am so naive about all this and am worried about the outlay. I have about £20 tops which equates to $32.89, currently. Also, I've absolutely no idea what happens after the upgrade is completed. No idea about referrals, I don't know if it's automatic or if I have to find them myself..not a clue I'm afraid.
This is why I have been stuck on the "free" stuff for so long. AdPaid is the one that paid me recently once I reached the $3 limit and I was amazed when the money appeared in my PayPal account (rather like my first payment from MyLot) as it's rare, let's face it, that we actually get paid for clicking/typing online isn't it?
So, if you have any advice for me I would appreciate the basic approach lol. This will help me make any further decisions. I don't want to know about other sites as I only have eyes fixed on AdPaid, ClixSense and (maybe) DonkeyMails as all have been going a long time. I also know about PTC Investigations that advise us all NOT to invest in Bux sites as those are the most risky. However, I do know a little about Aurora sites..is PiggyBankGPT one of those? I got paid by them recently but I find the signing up for offers really complicated..also I've already joined some of the survey sites they "advertise" seperately, so, obviously I am not allowed to join them again.
As you can probably gather, I'm a tad confused!

Clixsense has build their reputation over the years. If there`s one bux site that I would recommend for you,I should say it`s clixsense.Hey have you tried inboxdollars.com?It`s been running for almost ten years now and they pay you $5 just for signing up.Their minimum payout is $25.
