Mylot had become my personal diary.

I can't believe that I am actually writing things that transpires in my life in mylot, including my thoughts and feelings, too. Mylot had become my personal diary, and contrary to what a diary is intended to be, mine is internationally publicized. My younger daughter is trying to give her medical/psychological opinion. I am probably narcissistic! Nayeth sayeth I! With billions of humans walking the earth, I am just a speck of dust, and no one would really dwell on my simple and very ordinary life... So I write...

I do limit to what I input but have to admit that I surprisingly do divulge more here then I do offline. Initially I was told by many that myLot is a great place to vent, and they are so right because our venting reaching some and it is the some that actually gain from what we post.

I think we are all a bit reticent, or should be. On the other hand, when we do strike a chord with another lotter it is very good. We help them, they help us. It makes us feel needed and connected.

so true, it is a bit wary in the beginning but we eventually get familiar with the people here and oftentimes the connection sets it and it is nice to know that there are people who really take time to listen on what you are going through, serious or silly..

I was wary in the beginning, but later on, I felt braver, and then I simply told myself that I am me and I have nothing to be afraid of. Nothing can go wrong if I am as honest as I can be....

It good that you share like that, i too sometime express the things which none of my friends want to listen in my life in here and fell good. The caution to be taken i know your are not that foolish.......so putting some secret here will harm.

My life is an open book. I have no secret really. What is amusing is that my life is so trite and yet many find it interesting, except me, ha ha!

Hi! It is true that whatever we share here on mylot is like our personal diary and we unconsciously keep expressing our very inner feelings and we feel that others are ‘listening’ and paying attention to us (even if they are not ……..lol!). The false sense of belief gives us a kind of inner satisfaction and we feel happy that we are being recognized and acknowledged.

hello eileen! It's nice to write something down to ease our feelings out. I guess there's no problem if you take mylot as your personal diary. Well, as long as you know your limitations on what to share or not. It's your own freedom to write down what you wanted others to know about you. For me I also write my feelings in here somehow but I know my limitations and it's just a way of expressing our feelings to what others may say.

So far, I have not shared my curriculum vitae. I'd be glad to, if that means I get a million bucks... $, of course!

so I do, my lot give us a freedom to speak and share anything, just like a diary we share and write the problem. But here, you can solve problem and heal your self too. Happy lotting.

Very true. Sometimes I feel stupid over something I thought would engulf me, till someone relates a story too incredible to read.

I often find that mylot is like a diary or journal and I think it is very healthy. Sometimes the life of one speck of dust has a great deal of meaning to the next speck of dust that comes into contact with it.

Absolutely and I truly enjoy following a great many discussions from the same members because it helps me understand them more. This way while I am responding to another I don't feel lost to a sense. Hi GG

Hello, Nice to hear something so good from mylotter. I always have wanted to believe that myLot too is like my diary, but no I can't say that, because in my diary If I ever would write It, I would write things what makes me feel bad, happy, and other personal things. But, now I would take from you a example and now would said myLot is my public diary where I am talking with people for things what I care and have thought. Good luck, Have a nice day!

Yes, mylot is a personal diary for many mylotters. It's a platform for us to voice our thoughts, gain feedback and opinions from like minded people. Though there will be others who are out to spoil things, still it's their freedom. It's not a bad thing to share thoughts here because we are actually paid for it. That's even better than writing in a real diary or blog whereby it's just writing.

It's nice to be able to relate for the topics that are started , on Mylot, really. I for one share my opinions and sometimes some of what is happening in my everyday life, but i still see to it that they are still on the discreet side. I may share some of me, but i can say they are just the tip of the iceberg. It's somehow a relief to be able to share some feelings though.

AH yes, mylot has invaded our privacy in a good way... I do the same things too. It has become our journal for our daily lives. What's interesting is we got great views from across the globe, people from different regions and different cultures. Mylot became a part of our daily lives. I guess. Well, at least for me, that holds true. . .

And most of the time, our unsolicited advices are well taken, ha ha! My few cents worth is rather cheap, don't you think? Therapy is expensive on an hourly basis. Here, we simply exchange ideas and we feel better already.

As I have observed, you are very well comfortable the way you deliver your comments and suggestions; and as you post discussions. You are very friendly and at times very open to what you feel and so I can say that you have made Mylot as your company to release and express what you feel. Just the same with others who has made mylot their shock absorber.

To me mylot is a very similar thing. I dont intentionally write on here to remember certain things. I just like to write when I think of something that hasent been brought up yet. I have always liked giving my opinion on things so mylot is a great outlet for me. I love reading the replies from other mylotters on my discussions. Since my son was born I have rarely written in an actual diary which is to bad.
