Is There Any Sin Worse than Thinking You Know?

I don't think there is. Because 'thinking you know' the truth blinds you to the fact that your truth may not be The Truth ... or that neither Truth has the power to take you to the unknown eternity that awaits you in Paradise! Do you think there's any sin more-dangerous to fall into? Why is that sin the worst one?

While it may not be a sin to thing that I know everything, it may do harm to me. Yes. I will not learn new things/knowledge which is required for growth in career. So, think introspect and then decide that you know a particular thing. If you attempt an unknown area without proper planning/guidance it may cause negative experiences which you must be prepared to accept.

The best thing to know is to know who to obey, and how to obey them!

Sort of. It's saying yes to everything OUR LORD INSTRUCTS US TO SAY YES TO!

If there is such a thing as sin than there is only one that is worthy of mention. The one sin is to willfully do something that adversely affects the well-being of another. The only absolute Truth is that there is no absolute Truth.

And therefore what you can see, hear and sense in any way (know to be absolutely true) ALWAYS might be a lie---that, you can trust. It's the absolutely honest ones you want to look out for, because you never know when they're going to do something ... like that; Or not.

This reminds me of my advanced algebra class..there were times when my instructor would lecture and I would think...aww...that's easy...I got that...THEN when I took my quiz, I got a spanking and realized I hadn't got it at all...lol...no tutoring because I thought I had it. I passed the class but it was when i felt the best about the tests that I did the worst...lol.

If the tutors there are anything like me when I was a tutor, you only would've learned that that smile can convince people that ANY answer's right!

"Fall under"? ... more like 'be the very seed' of pride (and its fruit as well ... like Buddhism's view of the 'Lotus')

I think all sins are more dangerous to fall, so if we can evade to do sin much better but no man is perfect so let us minimize in doing that.....
