How should I do if my current job makes me exhausted?

Currently I'm working in a big enterprise and earn a salary that is quite high for a girl who just graduated from college for 2 years. However, my daily work has nothing to do with my real interest and has exhausted me. I really want to be an interpreter or a teacher, but those jobs do not pay well in a few years and if I rotate to a new job, I have to leave the company now. I've found a new job as an English teacher, but my family is strongly against my decision. I really want to begin a new career and find my real interste. But I don't want to disappoint my family. It's a dilemma...

In fact all the jobs will have its advantages and disadvantages. Of course it will be great to have a job which is also your interest. In fact working as an interpreter or a teacher won't be a low paid job today, I guess. I think it has a good reputation. Probably it is even a stable job. Since you are young, so you have your own ambitions. If you can't do or even try it, I think you may feel regretful one day. I love China

Thank you very much and I think you're right! If I do not dare to take this step, I'll be regretful in a few years. I'll grasp the chance! I love China~~and I'm happy to meet you:)

hi zhuzhu your family are not the ones that have to face what exhausts you about your job, you are and if you love to teach as an English teacher I think you will find they pay better than you think,I should hope your family wants you to be happy in what you are doing.its your life and your interest. I would in your shoes apply for the English teacher. Your family will have to get used to you being your own person. It is y our life not theirs.good luck and God Bless.

If I were you I won't give in to the fatigue or the stress if I already have a secure job with a satisfactory pay. What I would do is make a schedule for the things I should do during the entire week or even month. When I am tired, there is nothing wrong to take a short leave, perhaps one or two days. And, you can actually release the burden of work by finding one or two good friends in the office. You can actually discuss and help each other. You'll never know whether the job of teaching would be easier than your current job. You might think that it is easy, but imagine about the work load you need to do after office hours! Teachers are often required to do out of class jobs and you can actually end up being more exhausted than you are right now.
