My friend's status in facebook is: "You'll know you're a good mom when you're dress your child better than you". The statement makes sense but that status made me think if there is really a formula to be a good mother. I don't know. All i know is in a few months I'll be a mom and i'll do what i know is best for my baby.

There's no particular criteria of being a good mom. Or even being the BEST mom. There are only moms who's dedicated enough towards caring for their children and the whole family. And most often, children would realize that they'd got the best mom in this world. By choosing to be a mom, deciding to take that baby till it gets out of you and taking care of such cute creation of GOD, you're walking the path of a good mom.
I guess I should've greeted you Happy Mother's Day in advance. :)
God bless your pregnancy and your whole family! :) Have a happy lifE!

Thank you chuyins. It makes me feel good when you say that i'm walking the path of a good mom. You know what, i'm really excited to see my baby. I'm always talking to her even she's still inside my womb because i want her to feel that i love her very much.
God bless you and your family as well :)

That's good. I remember my elder sister who used to talk and sing to her little baby insider her womb. She wants the baby to feel that she loves her. She got a very lovely little girl now. And I had so much fun with her, back home...
God bless. :) See you around.

as for clothes, we scour thrift stores plus we get nice hand me downs from others. you can find great things at thrift stores!
as for being a mother, well visiting a library and reading about motherhood and the first few years of life will give you some ideas, but only you really know your baby and can do whats best for it.

Something happens to us when our babies come out of our wombs. Oh, sure there is the chemicals that react and storm here and there. But there is a bond that starts when you hold this new being and feed it. It just happens. It is all that easy. Our hearts open and there is a bonding that takes place that far out shadows anything you will experience anywhere else.

If you have that desire to be a great mom, odds are you will be one! I don;t htink htere is any special formula. Patience is one virtue though that you will need from the start. I never had much patience before, but you learn that very quickly with a newborn. I like your friend's Facebook status! That is os true! My husband and I often say the same thing. It shows that we, and your friend,as I'm sure you will also, will put the needs and desires of your child before your own. best wishes! :-)
