Anyone come from Taiwan or been to Taiwan

I haven't gone to this place before but I know a little about them, it is formerly named "formosa" which means beautiful, it is part of China. They have one of the tallest buildings in the world which is the Taipei 101, the beautiful Yang Ming Park and the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park. This is where asian sensations Jerry Yan, Vic zhou, Vaness Wu and the rest came from. I would like to visit this country someday if I win the lottery..lol..Taiwan is beautiful and has a very nice people too.

I have stayed in Taiwan for long time. It's not surprised that only a few white people in here. But the number of different races has increased in recent years. I can even see the tourist from Europe in Matsu, a small island, very closed to China. Some of my neighbors are even came from South Africa to teach English. Many whites came Taiwan for work, not just for tour. They think that Taiwanese is really friendly and treats them well. I never saw a foreigner would be took in trouble by locals. No one would try to treat foreigners badly. They all are pretty friendly. There are many plenty of stuff that deserve you to have a joy. For example, night market and Taiwanese food are just interesting and tasted. I could never forget the taste of first bowl of beef noodle I got. It is just delicious.

Never got the chance to be there, but I met these 3 Taiwanese people in LA back around 2015, very nice people. Two in the real estate agency business, one is a taxi driver. All of them are decent Christians.
