I also think so that the dog is our best friend. The dog is a very smart dog loyal and intelligent. And most importantly, your dog will never disappoint.
And do you think so?

I haven't ever had a pet so far in my life and I never had been attached with any sort of animals in that manner to keep them as my pet. Until the time I shifted to this new city where I am working presently. Here people are worse than animals and this is the time that I would definitely like to adopt a dog. One day I had lost my documents and I was quite worried but then none of my "so-called-friends" turned up to help me in getting the documents which had fallen somewhere on my way to home from workplace stating that they were too tired to help me! I was nearly in tears not at the loss of losing the documents but at the sight of seeing such ruthless people. That's when I really needed someone who would be there for me unconditionally. I hadn't thought of keeping a dog as a pet but the thought struck me when I saw a person in a park playing with his dog. I just went up to that person and his doh and his talked with them for a while! The dog treated me with more affection than any human so far in this city. That's when I thought of keeping a dog with me who would be far better than people out here!

Yes sometimes the dog is much better friend than the man. The dog, although could not speak, they will understand.
People are sometimes inflated so arrogant and unpleasant. Sometimes seeing the world around us and there is no love but only envy and hatred makes us realize that this is not nice and not very pleasant.
I wish you one day have a dog and to experience his love. Have a nice day!

I disagree. Don't get me wrong - I like dogs and think they're great, but I prefer animals with more independence and personality. A dog gives unquestioning loyalty and obedience even if you're horrible to it, which to me shows a distinct lack of character.
I've always preferred cats: they're not subservient but they'll stick with you if you treat them right. It's a much more equal relationship.
I guess it comes down to the definition of "best friend". I don't want friends who just agree with everything I say and do - I want them to have their own life and independence, their own opinions so that there's something to share. Otherwise they're just obsequious slaves.

Dogs are man's best friend. They are intelligent and loyal beings. With experiences of dogs showing their impressive skills on helping people and comforting them, they proved to be our best friends. Dogs are capable of listening to what we have to say and would accompany us whenever we're alone and most of all, they are cute.
