Making money online is not easy. It takes a lot of effort and creative skills to come out with something profitable. I know of people who were convinced into believing that immediately they enter online business they will start reaping dollars. It is only a few persons who have this secret and many of them are unwilling to share this information with the public. Others who claim to be making money are into internet fraud and scam. But they claim to be doing legitimate business online. I think the best suggestions for any online worker is this: Take your time to get trained on all the ways one can make money online Choose your area of expertise or interest and start training on that area Do not be carried away by money making advert online just do the little you are doing even if the income is very low. I do not advise you to quit that office job, this is because online money usually do not come too quickly. Just use your normal office salary to support your online business until the online business start to yield income. I do not advise you to avoid normal employment. You should look for a normal office job and use that as a support so that you can be getting money from two engagements. So work online and also go out on the street and look for a normal job in a company. With this you will never go hungry

I guess it is the same. Only, when you're working at home (online), you don't have to go out. This might be the difference people see. When you're at home, it actually sounds convenient opposed to going out for work. Maybe this is what people base their perception when comparing working on a day job or working at home.
