Was Lebron James Celebration Too Dramatic After Defeating the Celtics?

I think so. You would of thought he won the NBA Championship by looking at him. The heat haven't even started playing in the Eastern Conference finals though. They did defeat the Celtics to win the series though. Lebron James did take over the game finally by scoring the last 10 points for his team to win in a comeback victory. I guess it has more to so with taking over the game MJ style which silences the critics somewhat who were complaining he lacked that. He also beat the celtics which he lost to last post-season when he was with the Cavs. Still, don't you think hes celebrating too soon?

It wasn't over the top knowing that the Celtics where like the pistons during MJ's time. The only difference was that MJ didn't bail on Chicago and kept persevering. James admitted that the opportunity to play with Wade was a once in a lifetime that he couldn't pass. The admission was long overdue, had he said that when he made his "decision" then people might not have judged him too harshly.

true nba fans already knew wade was the main reason that james decided to go to miami. he shouldn't of had to explain it. the cavs fans were just pissed he bailed out on them. at least MJ had scottie pippen. james didn't even have that type of talent when he was with the cavs.

Well, he did it all. I think that after last season when boston defeat Miami in tree games out of four, the Heat were a little concerned about the semifinals. that is why Lebron James was so happy. If the Big Tree play as well in the games against Chicago, they will definitely win.

I'm not sure. I didn't get to see it. I guess they are just excited to win it and possibly have the chance for better games and ultimate winnings.

I do not think his reaction was too dramatic. It was a huge moment in his career, he took out the Celtics finally and he closed out the game all on his own. I think any player in the NBA would celebrate like he did, probably even more. Even so, there is no reason to criticize a player for celebrating too much after a victory. Whether it is a regular season game or a game in the play offs, if a player has an outstanding performance then they should celebrate as much as they want, as long as it is not offensive to the other team.
