continues beeping means memory error check your memory using memory check or remove the ram and clean the ram port and ram connecters
if it happens again try different ram

It happens to me sometimes and I call in my technician who opens it and just cleans the inside and puts it back. That's all. It is the dust that settles inside and only a techniician can handle it unless you know how to dismantle the stuff and fix it back.

i exactly don't know what's the problem, but i heard that when a computer beeps, it means its telling that there's a problem in it, so count the number of beeps and check out the beep codes, and then you might get to know what the problem is and so you can fix it, and why can't you update your operating system software,it might work it.

When I had the same problem, it was my RAM which was causing trouble. So I think there is problem with your RAM too. If you have two RAMS in your system, then try removing one and test if it stop beeping. repeat both. Hopefully this will help

Having computer problems can really be a big headache, especially when you don't know what the problem is or how to fix it. I was in that position just yesterday, but lucky for me I know how to restore my computer back to an earlier date; I am so luck that I learned how to do this. Once I restore it back to an earlier date, my problem seem to correct itself.
Unfortunately, I have not had the beeping problem yet, so I can really tell you what could probably be your problem. You can try the restoring to an earlier date before you started experiencing the beeping, and maybe it will correct itself. If restoring doesn't work, you may need professional technical diagnosis.I do hope you get your problem resolved soon.

When your computer beeping, actually your computer trying to tell you whats wrong with it. And the meaning of beeps is:
1 short beep - DRAM refresh failure
2 short beeps - Parity circuit failure
3 short beeps - Base 64K RAM failure
4 short beeps - System timer failure
5 short beeps - Process failure
6 short beeps - Keyboard controller Gate A20 error
7 short beeps - Virtual mode exception error
8 short beeps - Display memory Read/Write test failure
9 short beeps - ROM BIOS checksum failure
10 short beeps - CMOS shutdown Read/Write error
11 short beeps - Cache Memory error
1 long, 3 short beeps - Conventional/Extended memory failure
1 long, 8 short beeps - Display/Retrace test failed
Now check your new installed hardware in your computer before those beeps was coming. Maybe there is something wrong with the hardware you recently installed that has started causing problems. Remove the hardware, reinstall the old hardware if possible, and reboot.

Send in the Coyote dude! Beep! Beep! . . . . . lol
You have to read the Motherboard's Manual. Those beeping sounds on the internal motherboard speakers are warning or notifications when somethings is not right on your motherboard. Like overheating, grounded, etc.

The Power On Self Test (POST) found a problem in your computer when you turned it on. The number of short and long beeps indicates the source of the problem -- it uses beeps and not screen, as it can be a display problem --. These codes depend of the BIOS of your computer -- they have nothing to do with your operating system --. You will find charts for common BIOS (Phoenix, Award, etc.) here : http://www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtml
Check the chart : it can be only a small clock failure, but it can also indicates a serious problem on your motherboard, like a bad chip.

Beeps are used to warn us of upcoming troubles. I think you should see your technician so that he/she can fix your computer. If your too tired to contact your technician better disconnect your speakers so your computer doesn't beep. :)

normaly it's RAM problem. I suggest you to change the RAM orde, if the problem persist retire all RAM and see if the beeps are the same.
The RAM problem's is very common, but can be board problem's too.
