harry potter mania - books and the movies?!

13 years ago (wait! today is also friday the 13th. is that a coincidence?), when i first grab a copy of the harry potter series from our library. i was so excited that the following year i watch the world premiere of the first movie installment - harry potter and the sorcerer's stone. and the harry potter mania went on. after reading the first book, i went on reading the 2nd, 3rd and the 4th, which as far as i can remember was borrowed by only one person and there were six of us who shared that book. our very good friend who is also a harry potter addict keep on renewing the book in the library weekly. why? because it was the only book in the circulation section. then came the second movie installment, it came just before my graduation, therefore i had all the opportunity to watch.
the sad part of this exciting story, was the fact that when the 5th book came out in the market i had already graduated 6 months earlier. worst, people in my place never knew who harry potter is! sigh! i have to wait for the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th movie installments, just to continue the exhilaration. and then out from the blue (maybe it was really a gift from God to a harry potter fan), my cousin had a copy of the last book - harry potter and the deathly hallows. with out second thoughts, i grab the book and asked my cousin's permission to take it with me. i want to engrossed my self for the last time to harry potter.
what did i get? satisfaction till the seventh heavens...i am looking forward to the last movie installment. congratulations to j. k. rowling! go harry potter!

Hello. I am glad I met a harry potter addict here in MyLot! I really am crazy about Harry Potter. Before, we even pretended that we were witches and scared the guys in our neighborhood. It was damn crazy..

wow! that was pretty cool eh..but yeah right we used to do that. now we see it in harry potter...is it not amzing to see ourselves in the movie. like we can pick one witch and pretend to be that witch...hahaha..cool!

oh..that was so good. at least, it contributed a lot to your personality. oh yes, it's true that eragon thing is also good. but i had never come accross with the book, though i was able to watch the movie..

The harry potter story indeed very interesting and when made ??in the movies, story that's keep became a matter interesting. I'm more like harry potter in the form of movie. And did you know? I have to watch 2-3 times the movie of harry potter to get understand their plot, and it does not make me bored

congratulations! and welcome aboard! you will not really understand the plot in the movie, because it keeps on moving from one clip to another. my advise is read the books first. well, if you are not fond of reading books, you will really get bored. but mind you, if you are really hooked-up with harry potter, you will never get bored with the books. trust me. it is really fun.

upon reading your post the person that i can think of is my cousin. she is like you very addicted to harry potter. personally, i do not get enticed with this harry potter and this genre of story.

hahahaha...you made me laugh. thanks..ows! really? your cousin must be imaginative. well, extend my regards to him/her. anyways, so what stories do you love to read? do you like fairy tales? well, dear let me tell you, fairy tales - the most celebrated bed time stories can also be found in the harry potter series. maybe you weren't aware of the olympians, yet. read the Greek mythology and you will understand.

Hello Ladyphoenix wow it is so amazing to meet another Harry Potter fan yep i read all the books at least twice and cant wait for the 2nd part of Deathly Hallows movie.... though i love the movies there is nothing like reading the stories.....on another site there were Harry Potter quiz and i loved taking them and got 10 out 10 in most of the quiz :) YES GO Harry GO all the way!!

hi there arunadas. i apollogize for this late reply. anyways, thank you for the great affirmations when in comes to reading the books instead of watching it on television only. where is these harry potter quiz? i never had stumbled upon them somewhere. can you tell me? so that i can take one, too. hahahahaha..
