I have posted a picture of a dandelion. When looking at it up close, I have to be amazed with it's beauty.....but to get a lawn full is disastrous. lol
In the southern states, are dandelions a nuisance like they are in Canada. Maybe there are other nuisance plants in the southern states.
We sort of go through seasons in the summer here....first month, you are fighting the dandelions....which seem to pop up every morning, then comes the clover...which we keep mowing over. lol

Dandelions are a nuisance for alot of peole's lawn here in the states! Some people just move them every week! Some people use weed killer to get rid of the weeds, known as dandelions! I don't own a home so I don't have to worry about a lawn!

We just keep cutting them...sometimes twice a week, for the duration they are active. We do not have enough money to get rid of every dandelion on our lawn. lol

Hi. Nadinest1. I have never seen a dandelion that was so pretty in the yellow color before. I know dandelions are fuzzy flowers that leave so much of their petals just about everywhere. I am assuming that these yellow dandelions do just about the same too. I do love your picture of the yellow dandelion.

We get alot of dandelions in our yard and we are in southern Indiana. We are going to have a lawncare company come out to treat our yard. We have alot of crabgrass too and it will not let my regular grass grow. We tried new seed again this year and we still don't have alot of grass.

Although they are so pretty they sure are quite a nuisance in which when I owned my home I was constantly cutting, chemical spraying and lawn mowing over. They grow so fast and can take over a full lawn in a matter of a few days.
