Well, when your good isn't good enough, do your best. When you've done your best and you've put out your best efforts, and that still isn't enough, I guess, there really isn't anything that you can do in that situation. Just let the situation work itself out and hope for the best. Sometimes, you have to know when to give up and let go, otherwise you'll just end up hurting yourself.

kinda reminds me of the song "just once" with its first line- "I did my best but my best wasn't good enough". hahaha..

The first thing you need to do is TAKE A BREAK!!! Pick a day and do nothing. Get lots of sleep. Get bored. Next we have to change our thinking. If everything you are doing is wrong, that's showing you what not to do. Don't repeat your actions. Learn from them. You are a wonderful person. I can tell because you CARE. Get lots of information from others about your problem then make the choice. If you lose enough, the right answer is the only thing left. It just got easier. Know that every successful person learned this way. Losing isn't bad. It's what you do after you lose that counts.

Accepting that we are not perfect give us some sense that no matter what we did our best. If you can say to yourself that your intentions where exactly how you wanted things to go then do not be so hard on yourself.
It is not easy but you have to find a way to accept that sometimes no matter how much we try it does not always fall in our favor. Once again it is accepting that we tried and not allow anyone to think that we are less then we are.

Remember that we should never depend our happiness to other people but only ourselves. No one can tell you that it wasn't good enough when you have produced good results. We cannot please everybody but we have to bear in mind that as long as we are not hurting anybody or doing an unforgivable sin, we are on the right track.
Nowadays it doesn't matter much to mewhat other people say of how I deal with life. As long as I'm doing it an ccordance with God's will, then nobody can judge me at all. I maybe imperfect but I was created and loved by the almighty.
And hey, listen to the song of Lady Gaga, Born This Way. Hope that would make you feel better and inspire you to continue doing your best.

I may be able to help. Lets look at the problem, you said that your best intentions keep making a mess of things. Well did you ever stop and think that maybe, just maybe, that you're trying too hard? You know sometimes we have the greatest of intentions and we are so caught up in it that things go wrong. That's because we try too hard and we want everything to be perfect.

Who is saying your 'good' isn't good enough? What are you trying to achieve? What do you want from yourself. Start by setting your own goals. Learn the skills to accomplish that goal. Accomplish it! That is your good enough! If I build a box and I like the box, and the box serves my purpose, it is a good box. If someone thinks the box isn't pretty enough, big enough or the right color, IT ISN'T THEIR BOX!!! They don't get to judge it and call it wanting! Stop giving people power over you that they don't deserve. Be the best you you can be. That is good enough.

No matter how careful a person might be in handling his affairs, one way or another, he falls prey to blunders, temptations, and mere neglect to think, say or do what is lawful. The works that bring praise and glory to God are the fruits of righteousness which can be done only through the Lord Jesus Christ.
