Selling Thing Online via Kaskus FJB

Well you might already know that kaskus is the largest forum site in Indonesia. It has so many thread / topic and sub forum. One of the most famous one it's called Kaskus FJB ( Forum jual beli = mean Buying and Selling Forum ).
My Question is, do you ever make transaction in kaskus? How the transaction goes? is it satisfying? Or do you have some complain?
As for me, i already make a few transaction there. I helped my friend sold his motor cycle and a few of motor cycle accessories. I also bought a few DVD movies there. All my transaction work perfectly and it feel satisfying.
Please let me know about how you feel about this.

i've never actually make buying and selling in kaskus,
even though i myself like to write a post on the forum kaskus.
because i am afraid that deceived. so i chose to buy or sell goods
directly without the intermediary me.... but if i may ask for help or tips
on how to tell that i can buy or sell goods on kaskus. thanks!!!

First off all, sorry for the late reply. My life seems doesn't left me a lot of time to play mylot. Anyway, about the tips. If you can, try to do a COD system with the seller. COD means Cash On Delivery. You met the seller directly and paid in cash when you receive the item.
If Cash on Delivery is not possible, try using rekening bersama. If the transaction is small, and you feel to much work using rekening bersama, just make sure the seller has a good reputation and have a few testimonial and no bad testimonial from the other buyer. Make sure the testimonial is for the seller, since many scammer not quote other seller testimonial in their thread.

my nickname in kaskus "rxranger". i actually just joined in august kaskus yesterday. and after i became a member i have seen so many forums that have topics of interest. so i began to feel at home to open kaskus every day. BTW if you can, give me the first candol. ^^

Well it's not all about the job, Although it is the main issue i have now. Not like the old day where i have a lot of free time at work, now i rarely have spare time. And if i do have, i usually feel to tired to write some thing. I don't know, maybe i am getting lazy. Anyway, sorry again for the very late reply.

Well i rarely online now, i have life outside mylot, and beside that i active in other forum too. I am in mylot when i have time only, and even i have time, it is not for mylot only. It depend on the mood too. I don't really into making money from the internet, i just want to experience the fun of the internet only. Anyway, happy fasting for you.

till now neither i have buy nor sold items,online,but this site is mentioned for Indonesia only,so this site may not be useful to us, i too have small Quron ,i wish to sell it on online,but i do not find the way how sell it,is is rare piece i am thinking,have a nice day

Well yes, this site is for indonesia only although there are a few foreign seller here, but they usually a person who know indonesia and have an indonesia bank account. Well if you want to sell it online, you could try E-Bay, although i actually never used it. Anyway, hope you be able to sell it soon. Thanks for your participation in this discussion.

Well i also never used e-bay, so i could not really be any help to you. I also don't know any other site that have you sell thing expect the local site in my country, which i don't think you will be able to join. Well i hope you will be lucky soon. Thanks for keep responding in this discussion.

Safe or not, it's up to you. Usually, you can do transaction using RekBer (Rekening Bersama) or COD (Cash on Delivery). It's the safest method I know. By using RekBer, you can hold your payment if you don't get the delivery. You send your money into RekBer, a temporary account in holding, in order to buy something from Seller. The Seller then send the item to you. If you get your delivery, then you can commit the delivery so the money in RekBer can go to Seller's account. It's useful to make sure that if you don't get your delivery, your money will back to you.
The second is COD. This method make you as buyer and seller make an appointment to meet at other places to make transaction. Something you must notice is if the Seller wants to meet you at quiet place or in the midnight time, then don't bother to deny it. The seller maybe has a bad intention. This has already happened when someone using COD in the midnight and he get robbed. In order to make sure something like that is not going to happen, choose a crowd place like Mall in the afternoon time.

Well yes, for a big transcation you should use rekeking bersama or COD. But if you just want a few DVD Movies than i think a bank transfer just will do. As long as you know the other person is already have a name in kaskus. When i sold my friend motorcycle, we actually do COD. We met at a university that near my friend house. It is quite a crowd place so it is be safe. Thanks for your reply my friend.

Well yes, i really agree with you. It have so many seller, with many variety of product. From used car or motorcycle to DVD Movie or games. There are a lot of thing that are sell there. It is really satisfy me to. But off course you need to be careful when buying there. There are many con man there too. Thanks for your respond my friend.

Kaskus is a very good place for buying and selling online. I have not been buying and selling through Kaskus. My younger brother, frequently purchasing goods from Kaskus. Very practical, and can find the item the desired without having to go anywhere.

Yes i agree with you, there is a lot of people selling things there. It is easy to sold many thing and buying many thing. And it usually cheaper since the one who sold it doesn't really need to rent a place to make a shop, so it reduce their cost and in the end reduce the price. Thanks for your respond.
