Got myself a MOVIE Marathon! wohoo

Yeah, not for a long while. knowing that Pirated ones are too costly and risky in my part i haven't bought Pirated DVD's in a while, which most has the poor quality.
But ever since the Grand Opening of Video City (a Video rental shop, one of our lessee), i got really excited. My mom rented 8 VCD/DVD's but under mine's and her friends freaking membership card!
but am glad she was able to enjoy watching movies again.
Me, i was able to watch independence day again but knowing it's ending i decided to give it back with one of hers rented movies. but i couldn't resist that i decided to borrow more this time i had watch Iron man 2, Resident Evil: afterlife. I was supposed to watch Harry Potter the latest part but tv and dvd needs rest and i got sleepy a bit.
Anyways, I need a new hobby and watching videos make a great on me again.

Today I just got signed in and feel so good to start my new hobby..but before I got here at mylot.com. I have been watchin dvd's like for all time till I fall asleep. I have been watchin a lot of movies already like Expendables, A-team, The tourist mostly action and some are series like The Amazing Race, Project runways, Survivor and Hell's kitchen. :) It feels so good when I'm on a marathon mood.

Exactly what I would have planned to do if I had this opportunity..
Watching a movie or so many in a line are really great occasions and I have missed out on so many of these...
But as you said - dont over do it as the DVD Store is now next door and the fun will be long lasting if it came in small packs... A marathon is not always the right race to participate in

My boyfriend and I have our days too especially weekend evening and or nights. Because of his crazy schedule we tend to watch them late. We also have a membership at block buster so we rent 3 at a time. I do like to take out the time, at times and just fudge out and enjoy the movies.
I must admit that I get really sleep sometimes because I was awake way too early in the day. It really is a relaxing hobby so very glad to hear that you have enjoyed your time.

How i wish we have a rental shop for DVDs too here in our place. When VCDs were substituted for DVDs, the rental shops here in our place closed.
It's nice to be watching DVDs in the confines of our house. It's cheaper that way, and we can pause it to pee anytime we would like to.
My husband and i did a DVD marathon too, last Holy week. It was really a great bonding way.

wow there was still video city? All the video cities in my area were already bankrupt. That is a gutsy business owner trying to defy the odds. Whoever he/she is who owns that video city branch have a lot of courage. I do hope that video rentals will prosper again. Because in a way its a tradition. In the united states many video rental stores had already closed down. Speaking of movie marathons, during the holyweek I have a "sick leave" for the sake of movie marathon.

Hi, i usually don't get the pirated, as i have the same reasons like you, i go to theatres with my friends or my family members, its good to watch in threatres rather than the home, but if we want to see the same movie then for sure we've to get them, but ofcourse i'll get the master print.

When I was fresh out of high school and working I used to rent movies at video king. They would have awesome deals where you could rent movies for like $1. Then we got netflix. I stopped watching movies after awhile except when my husband watched them and I was in the same room and it would distract me and I would get caught up in the movie lol.

We have been having movie marathon too at home me and hubby, but instead of renting, he was just downloading and we were able to watch a ton lately hahaha we watched lord of the ring trilogy, pirates of the carribbean all parts!

My sister and I used to have a movie marathon we also rented in Video City most of the movie we watch is a horror film but sometimes i prefer Jackie Chan's Movie.

There should be increased penalties for a piracy VCD/DVD!This is theft of intelectual work!People who created these products are thrown a lot of nevers and effort!
