Have you ever borrowed something and never give it back?

Oh gosh yes it is annoying and I end the borrowing to that particular person when that has happened to me. I do my best to rightfully return borrowed items proior to being asked, but if I happen to come across something later that I realize I had forgotten I do try and return right away. I know the feeling of loaning things out and then never getting them back, so I do try to not be forgetful in that respect.

I think people usually forget some things they borrowed from others.mostly books are not returned .I lent some books to my friends and my friends also borrow some books from me.we all not return to each other.

For me yes but it is happened because they are my neighbors who is not get respect in my life and my thing's.

sometimes if i borrow something eventually the person forgets i have it. when i do go to return it they'll say they forgot all about that item.sometimes they just let me keep it.

I have familiar experience with you.Next time if they borrow things from you, you just find an excuse to avoid giving them.that's a really a good method.

i never sell my text books, or my notes and that stuff so people borrow them from me, when then have supplies or when they need them, but none of them returned my books back, if i ask them they say that they'll search and will return but none returned till now, its just irritating for me, but i can't shout on people.

In most cases I return the things that I have borrowed as fast as I can, because I know how annoying it is when people just keep the things that they have borrowed. Some of my friends have borrowed things from me that they have never returned. I only have a few things that I have borrowed and never returned. One of those things is a book that I borrowed from my friend's mother. I have lost touch with him and I don't know where he lives now. The other things that I have belong to my ex-boyfriend. We don't keep in touch anymore and I haven't had the chance to return them.

If i have done this itwould have to be an oversight on my part. i would not intentionally keep something that i have borrowed and never give it back. I would not feel worthy if i did this.

Hi Infatuatebby, To be honest, I was like that when am at school. I use to borrow and finally lose it somewhere and feel guilty when they ask me back. I then buy and give them new. And later, I realize that really a bad practice. And losing others property is similar to hurting them. So I decided I never borrow from others and at most emergency get and return it back same day.

I might have done that years ago. I don't really like to lend things out because that happens all the time. I always made a point of giving back whatever I borrowed, which is very few times in my life. I have had some friends borrow stuff from me and never got it back. I guess they thought I forgot about it, but I never did. So, if you do not want to loose anything, do not lend it out. And do not borrow either, because if you forget, then you are the bad guy.

Really its not a good attitude 'coz no one will ever trust you again. I don't do it with other people but with my sisters, yes! I ask it from them.

I could remember vividly,that i borrow a cd from a friend, but unfortunately it got damaged, i didnt know what to do, i try to get another but i couldn't, i never say anything about the cd and he never ask, i hope one day i'll be able to explain things to him

it is a very common attitude of the people here in my surroundings.... especially if you ask them to make it back to me the items that they borrowed - they will only answer "no, i already give it back to you, don't you ever remember?"

Hi infatuatedbby, Yes, I borrowed different things at different times but the were returned on due time. I also borrowed books from my friends and some of them I did not return intentionally and some because of forgetfulness. So be careful, before lending book to any of your friend think thrice.

Hi no never i borrowed and if i borrowed in some reasons i definetly repay it back as we all knw if some one borrows from us we definetly like that to be returned to us.

I have never knowingly never returned something! I hate when i lend things out & never get them back. sometimes, you can tell who your true friends are!!

offcourse.it is applicable for music cds,dvds,and mostly good films and my favourite thing-books.hehe.i dont care if someone thinks me bad if i dont return them the book.
