Jeepney's Abrupt Stop

I had a great laugh just this morning, as i was riding the jeepney. It suddenly stopped that i was pushed to my seatmate - a man at that! Since we were all slightly facing the front side, my lips get pushed into her left shoulder thereby putting a mark of my red lipstick on his shirt!
I was so ashamed and apologized. But he said it's okay, and laughingly joked it's just that his wife will surely doubt that he dated another girl ! That elicited laughter from everybody in the jeepney! The driver apologized too, laughingly.
What a happy accident it was !

It was indeed a fun and happy accident. I wonder how things would turn out for the guy after he got home? I can just imagine..

Well, if his wife is so submissive to him, it wouldn't be much of a bother to him. But if he is an undersaya, then, he will be "outside of the kulambo (mosquito net" , so they say.
But if i were the wife, i would logically assess it.

oh that was really funny experienced you had,in my many years riding in a public vehicle i still never had an experience like that because the only thing i can do is to say sorry,i will surely smile or laugh if that will happen to me especially if that man is already married.

When that happens the only graceful way is to say sorry and joke about it.

That was a very amusing experience that you had in the jeepney. The man's wife will wonder what he has been up to. It is lovely that everyone had a laugh about what happend.
On a water taxi with nmy ex-boyfriend and my oldest dog we hit a high wave and then felt a bump. We all fell on the floor. My ex-boyfriend hurt his arm and we had lots of luggage to carry. We were going to camp in my tent onn the island.
I was traveling in Samoa and it was funny traveling on a bus there. People sat down on my luggage in the gang way. There sat on one and another's laps to save space. The bus traveled along slowly and came to a stop where I was going to get off. I arrived on th island and my luggage was dripping with fruit juice I had bought in the capital city.

OMG! That was so kind of you, not even telling them not to sit on them because there are fruit juices inside.

Riding jeepneys is cheaper for ordinary employees, than bringing their car. So, it's common to see men going to work riding in a jeepney.
I just hope the man didn't take particular notice of me, after that incident. Me, out of my shame, i wasn't able to take note of the man.
I just wish we will not be riding on the same jeepney anymore at anytime.

That was really funny, when you meet him next time ask him, what was his wife's reaction!!!
Thank you for sharing
Enjoy life to fullest.

Unfortunately, out of my shame, i wasn't able to take a good look at him. Maybe next time he sees me again , he will initiate in telling me about it. Am sure he will remember me, because of the incident.

Yes, he has to explain it better or else her wife will not believe.

It is funny :D I don't think what happened to the man when he get home and when his wife noticed the lipstick on his shirt hopefully his wife would believe him when he tells the story :D

I just hope his wife is an open minded person, coz' if she wasn't, it would be hard for him to explain.
However, it's on the upper part of the sleeve, so can you call that an aggravating mark?

True. AT least nothing worse happened to us when he did that. I think the break is very new, so it is like that.
