When busy reading, someone blocked entry into the foolishness. Reading helps develop thinking and clear thinking. Reading enhance one's knowledge and improve memory and comprehension. With often read, people develop their ability. good to get and process science as well as to explore different disciplines and their application in life. Reading helps a person to refresh your mind of clutter and save time for not in vain. With frequent reading, one can master a lot of words and study the various types and models of sentence, further more he can improve his ability to grasp the concepts and to understand what was written "between the line upon line" (to understand what is implied).

Yes, reading is very beneficial. You learn so much and so many new things by studying and reading. I did not know the Indian name for spinach and, tapioca. This is very interesting. I love to read and I am able to find out so many things from reading. It is fun and knowledgeable!

Hi jazel,
Did any one say reading is not beneficial? lol
This is a fact that with the rising popularity of computer and Internet we tend to read less books that is paper back or hard bound. If this tendency remains the same one day will come when we would be struggling to write something on a piece of paper.
I love reading books too. And yes, if they are quality stuff we learn a lot new things from them.
As this is the era of competition knowledge in different fiend has become a must.
About Herbal medicine, they work on some people more effectively than some others. And even the medicine production companies make alloy them with some other stuff and we get generic medicines. medicine.

Hi jazel... too late? you have realized that reading is indeed beneficial.
Well, for a seminar i had to study on indian spinach and thats why i have collected 101 spinaches from my province which has herbal medical value too. Once a visitor came here and he said that its hard to pee on the jungles of Assam ( my state) because everywhere there are medical plants... very true.

Reading is indeed beneficial. I myself is a book lover and believes that our minds should be fed as well. When I graduated from college, I read books less than when I was studying in school. After a year of working, I reliazed that I was stuck and I was no longer learning anything new. Hence, I started reading again. I read books, and it did not matter what the genre was. Up until now, I make it a point to read and finish a book once a month. This helps me grow and learn more even if I am no longer in school. :)

Indeed! I also likes reading book or even magazines or e-mails specially about health and behavioural science. It's an addition to what we says "stock knowledge." Well, learning really doesn't stop when we stopped from school. Learning continues as we go on with our life. Discovering new things as we struggle to survive with our daily living.

Yes, I agree with you. Books provide us invaluable information. We can rely on books for any information. They enrich our knowledge and they make us knowledgable. I am also having the habit of book reading and gain knowledge enormously out of it.
