Okay, I might be touching on rumors here but I will admit that I have a lot of stories that I heard about about myself that...frankly, aren't true. This seems to be pattern that emerged from my primary school days when I was linked 'romantically' (this term is being used loosely) to a male classmate of mine. During that time, I didn't mind becuase it wasn't true but it was irritating when my classmates try to make me sit beside him or have him speak to me. I don't know what gives but he had the power to stop it but did not do anything.
College came and the gossip mongers linked me to a former classmate. When he flew away to another country, I was linked to my male best friend. My friend didn't mind and was actually amused. He went to laugh so hard when we both heard that we actually are attached but are under the guise of friendship. Apparantely, my classmate want me to take a boyfriend, a notion that I feel that is a private matter to me. Even if I did have an interest, they would link me to another innocent guy. People who don't know sometimes come to me and tell me that I'm a playgirl (which is technically and actually the opposite).
So, what does the gossip mongers say about you behind your back?

Yep, sadly people judge you by how you look like. Many times they won't even try to know you and just judge you flat out.

Ugh i hate rumors, i think the worst i had was when i was at high school, i was off ill with chicken pox and a neck strain. I took two weeks off. Well when i got back people were, looking at me weird and feeling overly friendly with me like i never had so much comfort in my life. Well the story that was going around was i was stabbed in the city central area!. I was puzzled and simply told the truth and that whoever made this lie is just stupid and trying to make a name for themselves by lying.

A couple of weeks ago I heard something new about myself
It's not quite gossip, and not nearly as annoying as your experience - but still funny.
Apparently, my co-workers have decided that I write books. No idea what gave them that impression, or what kind of books I'm supposed to write (but I will ask them at the next office party), but it seems I'm quite successful too.
I found out by accident. I started my own company recently (well, that's a fancy name for continuing my freelancing activity, actually), and one of my co-workers asked me "So, now are you going to deal with publishing, as well?" When I showed my surprise, he said "Oh, we all know that you write books, and that you don't like to talk about it, but you will have to confess, eventually".
And he refused to give me more details until I admitted to writing books. People can be so weird sometimes.

The most ridiculous story Ive got about my self is first it sucks since Ive got the story begins from my very close friend of mine and that hurts me a lot. Secondly the story really made me down that I just wanna kill the person who made the story, She was spreading a story that I am a b*tch that I go out with different guys and go to pubs every night. She's spreading the story all over the school. I am so upset and feeling so depressed and realized that how come I've got a friend like her??? so stupid. :(
