In my city, all the lands are very expensive and that's why you can't find any big shopping mall like those in the western world.I heard that there was a big shopping mall in Edmonton Canada that once you are in, you will find a hard time to get out from there since it is just too big.I didn't have that experience before but I did visited some of the biggest shopping mall in Asia. It was already big enough for me that I could hardly get out from there. Needless to say, walking all day long in the mall and finding an exit was a tough and tired job. What about your experience? hi! finding an exit is easy enough i guess, but finding a specific one can sometimes be tough in a big mall. especially in a crowded area during midnight sales and such. i'm not a fan of window shopping so i only go to malls if i need to buy something or to look for something i need. once, my sister and i were in jakarta and we got lost because of unfamiliar territories plus the mall is really big enough to get lost in and we were so tired from the shopping itself. it was pretty late when we got out and the crowd had thinned already. it was like... put me in hongkong streets armed with a map and i wouldn't get lost. but make me go to a big mall and that's another story. hehe

Hi.. It is really hard to deal in that kind of situation.. Sometimes people can't find its way out because he is new and that place and he is alone for that time... We can't blame them, i think if we are also in that kind of situation, the same thing happen especially if we are alone,... Also, most of the time, it happen to persons who are at their young age and older one.. They must always have companion where ever they go.. When i was a kid, my mother and i went into a mall.. We were accidentally separatd with each other, i really don't know what to do at my my young age during that time... What i think is to come to the nearest entrance/exit door, because i know there is always a guard on duty in that location, but h0w can i go there, what i did is , i approach one of the lady that passing by that if she could help me. She never fail to help me to find a nearest door, she bring me there.

well, this often happened to me since i am not very good at to remember ways especially when there is no sun or the roads are spiral winding.it's common in beijing, and there are many shopping mall combines shopping, dining with entertainments therefore i can hardly get out from those shopping mall or supermaket, comparing to this kind i 's rather to choose those small store where there are not crowed people and the environment is relatively quiet and with distinctive features

While visiting Taipei in 2006 we shopped at an underground shopping mall that was huge. There were big signs on the walls to give directions. We were being very careful because our Taxi would be waiting at the same entrance we can in from. A Chinese student graduate from York U, in Toronto saw my Canada cap, chatted with us for a few minutes and directed us to the correct exit.

In India all the exits are well marked and security is there to ask for the way to an exit. So no problem. There is always a trick to find an exit from a mall. Find a man carrying loads of purchases and looking harrassed. He is likely to exit the mall, on the double. Do not follow a woman! This is a serious warning! You will be going around in circles for the rest of your life!

Hi wild, Chadstone Shopping centre is one of the biggest (i guess the biggest) shopping centre in Australia. I live quite close to it. When i went there for the first time with my aunt, i was astonished to see how big and vast it was. After a week i thought i would go there all by myself. I didn't drive back then, so i took a bus and reached there. After i finished all my shopping, i couldn't find the right exit to my bus stop. I was completely lost. My aunt tried to direct me through phone but in vain. Finally, i went through centre's directory and located my way out! phew! I thought i was never gonna get outta there.
