hope the "fights" stops one day

Hi Letran I am not in the habit ever to be in kind of fight at all. I basically treat people the way I want to be treated. If someone is not kind to me, I will voice my opinion but never in my life have I ever been intentionally rude and or mean. I live with my own persona and that is that I have to be happy afterwards so if after voicing my opinion it does not come across and the person still wants to fight and or be rude I usually just walk away. Life is short my friend and I cannot exert too much energy on petty things in life, I also am considerate enough to understand that everyone has an opinion and I am not one to change their minds. I have no intentions of changing anyone, as people only change for themselves. So the solution for me basically is to ignore and or distance myself from anything that causes me any type of pain and or hurtful feelings.

dont be sad ok?^^ the truth is that some people just dont know how to talk sweet to others. you should just answer them and tell your opinion too. you are free to say your opinion as you want. if that person wants to argue then dont shut up. say what you feel and think. we should not let other people think that they are right. we are free to express what we feel also. if they continue to be rude just say: i dont want to continue a conversation with someone like you and leave :) i guess that will be enough for that person to shut up and leave you alone. if insists on pissing you off just say that you will ignore whatever they say. they will feel tired of talk to the wall ahah also cheer up. you are not an hyphocrite but sadly in this world there are a lot of people that are and we should ignore their existance

I'm not sure anymore. It seems that morals have gone down the drain and there is definitely a lack of respect for each other anymore. I try to be nice to people but alot of times it never returns back to me.

People will be people. sigh

I have learned that it takes two or more persons to argue; if there is an argument between people someone has to have the integrity to just not respond. If one stop responding to the words of war, then the war would be over or at least become calmer. Some individual don't know how to express themselves unless they are swearing and ranting and raving All I can say is, their poor hearts are ready to explode because of all unnecessary stress that is being place on it over some trivial differences of opinions; we should all be "bigger" people than that. Treat others the way you wish to be treat.

Those who call a spade a spade are not quite liked and in a place like this where one is supposed to express their frank opinion such users are sure to lose the popularity vote. But there is a way out. If for some reason one cannot see eye to eye with another user there is an option to leave that user alone and move on. Why leave myLot?

lk, are there more? hehe... again? hmmnnn, frankly i don't want to engage in any arguments here in mylot because each is entitled to his/her opinion. and each should respect that. yes, some can be brutally honest and some can be too sensitive. the difference of opinions produced by different personalities, culture and life experiences... often create clashes. for some, to the point of rudeness. for others, to the brink of stress. in mylot, i try to avoid both. being rude and being stressed. no good would come off it and it's not a win-win situation. many people come to mylot to relieve some stress and enjoy, no one wants to be further stressed. i definitely don't. hehe in my own little way, i am often very selective of discussions i would participate in. i don't respond to discussions that could solicit heated arguments. and i don't start ones that produce rants or complaints. (i actually haven't started a discussion for so long. personal reasons.) i also don't have the right answer or the right formula. i just know that whenever i participate in discussions... i come to contribute and not dispute... i appreciate rather than complain... i avoid rather than cause fire... i give respect rather than be forceful... and i try to share positive learnings and be helpful. these are... choices we make. have a great peaceful sunday!

I am a CYA'er...and do so, by entering the discussion with a "disclaimer,"...and most often, it works, especially when my response is quite "contra" to the opinion being offered. It is NOT a solution, but sometimes let's me express myself (and I do NOT do it rudely,)and enter another point of view to the discussion! I will NOT stoop to a battle of words (with the unarmed)! LOL! I guess, what I am saying is...NOTHING I have to say, is important enough to create dissention. Move ON..Move UP! Have a stupendous weekend...

To be honest with you, i come on here to have fun, so i do not really care what others have to say when putting people down.Life is far to short for all of that.If people want to be nasty to other people then perhaps they should not be on here.Or better still get kicked off here if that is all the things they come on here for.Alot of people will be nasty on a pc, but in real life they are wimps, so really they hide behind a screen.

I thoroughly agree. It seems almost impossible to pull up an opinion on anything and not see a negative comment or argument, no matter how small the matter is. Why can't we agree?

The fights will stop if every heart of every human being be cleansed and be guided my spirit of harmony, unity and peaceful living. Human beings fight because they don't want to loose power, pride and prestige, especially wealth. But these are not what defines life after all. It is that, one day, all fights are over. And that no more children be hurt, no more homeless people, and no more hunger. I want to see not someday, but today happiness in every human beings, children and adult, freedom and peace for all.
