Do you still remember the first time you received your salary?

hello, The first payment I had was on last February and it is not a big amount because I just earn it through internet because I am just a student and dont have permanent work. After I receive my first salary, I immediately paid my border house for that month.. I was also away from my family that time and my allowance from them is not really big to spend some unwanted stuff.. I really spend my money wisely that time.. After receiving my first salary I gave the half of it to my father.. Also I buy some foods and other personal things I needed that time.. I don't really spend that much in foods and in clothes or in many things, I was trained to life a simple life... After that of my first salary, I save some of my money to buy a new phone... Even my salary is not that big, i really try my best to buy a new phone... and it last for about 9 months for me to have enough money to buy it... it is really to live your life independently by your self, and away from your home... But then I am with my College classmates and now worried about longing for a family because they are my family also... They never fail to cheer up me when I am down..

I felt so much happiness when I received my first salary. It was not that big but I felt good inside. I even photocopied the cheque as a remembrance. Until now, the photocopied cheque is still in my cabinet.

Yeah how can i forget that nice moments which happened in my life. Of course still i remember that. But i gave my salary to my parents ( till now ) I gave a big treat to my friends when i get my 1st salary. After that i got many increments & now i am in a good position. Yes, I still remember vividly the first time I received my salary, which was not too long ago (2 years ago). It was a very fulfilling and ecstatic feeling, knowing for the first time that I have an income that comes from my own sweat and hard work, and not from Papa and Mummy..... While I was quite tempted to spend my first salary to spoil myself, I saved the money, which turned out to be a good thing because there were so many other expenses to deal with in the coming weeks (rent, electricity, gas & water bill, groceries, fee for doing my internship course, insurance etc.). Now that I'm into my third year working, I've actually saved quite a lot, so I can now spoil myself once in a while without feeling too guilty!

hi qian, wow! that is wonderful. Of course, I still do remember what I did to my very first salary. Like you I share it also with my family. I bought some food and stuff for myself. I think I bought some cellphone casing that time and some clothes.

Yes, I still remember the first time I receive my salary. It was not really quite big but I'm satisfied with it. I spent it too in treating my friends and my family out. We all had fun enjoying my first salary. But I kept part of that money (a 20 peso bill) as a remembrance of my first salary. And until now, I still kept that money and I don't have any plans on spending it. I even put it in a clear book together with the letter accepting me on my first job.

Congrats to your first salary and where is the treat? Still now i have not got a permanent full time job, just finished my college. But my first salary was through online, i got my first cheque from mginger. Though it was less amount, i was happy with it and that income only encouraged me to work more through online and earn.
