Shock Treatment for common man from UPA government Very sad news for all Indians. The Petrol price has once again hiked. It is the ninth time the petrol price is hiking in India in last nine months. Petrol rs:5 hiked diesel rs:4 hiked LPG rs:20-25 hiked. The UPA government was simply waiting to announce the result in 5 assembly elections in various part of India. Election result has been published last day on kerala, Tamil Nadu, Bengal, Assam,Pondichery. After election result manmohan government has raised the petrol price suddenly. This hike in petrol and related product is not at all justifiable. Its was the wrong move from UPA government to took away the regulation on petrol price and give it to companies.

ya its a sad and unacceptable news for Indians, but this was expected one. the government was planing to hike prices just after election and they did that. But currently petrol price is hiked. Diesel and LPG price hike has not been announced, but probably that will follow the petrol price hike. now the opposition parties will make strike against this, but there will not be any use for common man. bus charges will increase. price of all commodities will increase as transportation charge increases. But this hike in regular intervals is making the life of common man miserable, its affecting the expenditure of monthly income very much.

Solution lies in reducing demand for petrol. This is not possible. Number of vehicles is increasing every day on the road. I find in USA petrol price has risen from $3 two years ago to $4.15 now. The salary of government employees, public sector employees should be frozen and no increase should be allowed. then increase in administrative expenses will not be there. this will reduce the price of essentials to some extent.

yes , once again the price increased for the petrol., all people should use bus pass or do some travelling in a group so that we dont use lot of petrol and dont pay all this nonsense hike of price., when we dont do the expenses then they only will come down.Who is there to bear all this nonsense.

but we cant avoid using petrol or petroleum products. LPG is important one to cook in our busy life. And Diesel price is also going to hike, so bus charges and transportation charges of vegetable, rice wheat all get increased and its a big burden for common man.

Its the same everywhere, I'm from the UK and prices here must go up every 2 weeks and a least half of the cost here is tax from the government. the bad thing about rising fuel prices is that most goods need transporting so this pushes up the price of everything else. Its bad news for the common people as prices of things going to go up and up and wages stay the same or go down. The same happened here in the UK where the government promised something before the election then went back on that promise, in my opinion these kinds of promises should be legally binding and enforced.

here also the prices depends lot on tax. here also tax is a big part in petrol price. but in India the petrol price was under government control and the present government give the right to decide the petrol price to the companies. That had made the situation worse.

Instead of increasing the Petrol Price every now & then it is better if the Govt. thinks on rationing the petrol and give certain quatity at concessional rate and above that at a higher price which would benefit majority of middle class consumers. This frequent increase in the price is causing enormous hardship to the middle class consumers. This increase will have a cascading effect on so many other articles.Request not to increase the price instead look for alternative remedy.
