Hi. I want to put up a hypothetical situation. Suppose u r the boss of the company and ur best frnd works as the clerk in ur company. He made a mistake and u scold him/her. He threatens u that he will leave the company until and unless u treat well with him/her. What will u do. Do u keep ur frndship aside and take the decision in the intrest of company or u will stick to the friendship and make him/her do things whatever he/she wants. Cheers.

I don't think that a best friend will threaten you (if he/she is really your best friend). I really think that it won't. If he/she really does that, then I'll just keep the friendship aside.

Hi. swats89. I think that a friend should not threaten to leave the company at all. Your friend should be more lenient then. I will respect my friend. My thing is this, I won't scold my friend because if I do then, that will make my friend get upset. I will make sure that if my friend or employee, makes a mistake, I will be careful of how I talk to them. I will not get nasty at all. This will make my friend become offended. I will still follow the companies rules but I won't put my friendship on the line either.

Well good friends should be able to take some scolding and get over it. You should see the 'blue air' on a yacht sometimes and yet you are still friends at the end of the race.
If you make a mistake, and you know you have made a mistake, then you should be man enough to take some flack.

I'll never scold my bestfriend, i'll talk to him concerning the issue, i'll find a good solution to the mistake and make things right
