Do you think Amway products are really better than similar products in market?

Amway has been the name of common use products for years now, they range right from the Shampoo, toothpaste, floor cleansers, creams, soaps, deoderants, agriculture products, dietary supplements like calcium, minerals, iron, protein, etc.
Have you used these products ever? Do you think Amway products are the best in competition?

I have used some Amway products, but think we often associate quality with brand name as a result of commercials and/or mental conditioning. I often buy unknown brands and often find them just as effective or, at times, even better than brand names. I have become a regular at $1.00 dollar stores (several in my Space City) and often pleasantly surprised!
