Properly posting in discussion format

I've been wondering why I've not gotten many responses. Then someone came to me and told me that my posts are not at all in line with the terms of use. What am I doing wrong? What is a proper title to use as a discussion subject?

It takes time and it can be very discouraging when you first start. I would suggest what your other responders suggested too. Being detailed is important when starting discussions. The people understand about what you want to discuss, the more likely they are to respond. There is also the process of getting to know people. The more people that you get to know here, the more successful your discussions, provided they are discussions your friends can relate too..that is why we have the interest sections. Ex. If you are a huge sports fan...people that share this interest are more likely to respond to you discussions if that is what they are about. Introducing yourself by responding to people within your interests can be very helpful too. The more they see you, the more they will realize that you want to be an active member. There are a lot of people that come and go here. It is hard to get established and people sometimes give up. Member are also cautious becuase there are people that join here just to swamp people with referral links. I hope this helps. Good luck and hang in there!

First realise that a 'discussion' is an exchange of opinions between two or more people. If you give us something to discuss in your topics then you might get better results. As I said in a similar topic that you posted, try responding on discussions started by others until you get the hang of it.
