The woes of friday the 13th..yada..yada..Well, our 13th wasn't taboo ridden at all. In fact, it was rather nice. For those not in the knowing, Liz and I have been going thru some rough times of late. I'm not working due to congestive heart failure. Use your imagination from there. We knew there was a package coming. Was one of those 'I sent you something!' packages due in on the 12th. As it happened, due to weather conditions perhaps, it didn't land until late friday afternoon and we were gifted with a 3 1/2 pound rib-eye roast from one of Liz's online friends. We also received $105 gift from one of Liz's clients here in Atlanta..With little in the pantry and not enough cash for my medication..He definately provides all our needs. Friday the 13th is only bad for those who, apparently, have no reason to believe otherwise..What do you think? Enjoy!

I'm glad you've decided to look positively at Friday 13th. Did you know that in some countries, for example Spain, Tuesday 13th is the unlucky day and not Friday? And in some countries other numbers are unlucky, e.g. 4 in Chinese and Japanese. So next time you hear someone worrying about how their luck is going to change on Friday 13th, you'll be able to set them straight and use your own good luck as evidence.
