Do you think the killing of Osama bin Laden would help to free the world from the terror created by the militants or would it inspire thousands of new Ladens to carry on the ‘Jihad’ with new vigour under a new leadership?

I don't think it changes much. America could reduce the threat by reducing their meddlesome foreign policy.

Hello, Militant industry is not a one man show. If Laden was killed many other took his place. If India transfer Kasmir to Pakistan, than do Pakistan stop supply of militant to India. No and never. This Jihad have not any relation with religion it is state of mind.

I would hope and pray it would all go away but I'm afraid it will only make them more angry and want to attack moreso. They are finding out more info as to what Bin Laden was thinking of doing and how much he wanted to have President Obama killed. So I'm afraid the next in charge will try to carry out more attacks against the US and I believe this will go on for many more years unfortunately. I just hope we can continue to foil their attacks before people are hurt. I'm a survivor of 9/11 and do not want anyone to go through anything like that again.

You know what, under religious country, especially those extremist type of religion, uproot one or two ferocious leaders won't help much. It only deter their progress, and their further plans temporarily. When they have a new leader taking the lead, they would do the terrorist attack again. It is a matter how to brainwash their head, or guide them through the right way. It suppose from the religion, and the schooling to teach them how to respect life, and learn to live peacefully.
