For me their are different ways to get going. words from song, a quote from a newspaper, saying of some one, dialogue of a movie. Somebody's struggle story. a simple/ small ant, a blooming flower, a ride in a market, a kids smile. the list is long but we learn to stand because we fall. We learn to smile because we cry. enjoy living life!

As what Johnny Walker said ... "Keep Walking" ... these words get me going, or kept me going, whatever the circumstances are.

I have been inspired my many people's words or wisdom through their poetry or songs. However, one my favorite inspiring sayings is "to thy own self be true." If you are true to yourself, then you will follow your heart and live the life with dignity and honor the life that has been given to us just for a little while. Wasting your life because you cannot be true to yourself is sorrowful.

It is inevitable that we face a lot of challenges and adversities in our lives. With such, the words of God through the Bible has made my faith in Him a lot stronger. Whenever I have problems, I always remember the lines, "Draw yourself closer to God and God will draw closer to you". Everytime I remember this, I stand strong in battling against life's challenges.

I think my most inspirational words are, and will always be "be yourself, who else can you be". I say this because no matter who I meet or who I'm around, I will always be myself. I won't change who I am for anyone. I dealt with trying to fit in for other people's liking. After awhile it got exhausting and I got tired of trying to blend in. This is why this keeps me going and what goes through my head whether I'm around my friends or strangers. I'm unphased by the whole in crowd and outcast thing. Besides it's usually the ones that aren't a part of the in crowd who are the most pleasant to be around.

for i know the plans i have for you, says the Lord. plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11 this verse usually lifts my sould when i am downtrod and hopeless. i hope you take inspiration from it too the way that i do.

idmega they are not fancy but for me these words spoken to me by a physical therapist when I was learning to walk with a quad cane after a fall fractured my left shoulder so I had to have a shoulder joint repleacement. I always chickened out after a few minutes of walking as my shoulder was still very p ainful. but he would said" You can always do more than you think you can." so I would make myself walk another few feet and a few more and he would be saying," You are doing great. lets turn around and sit down in the wheel chair tomorrow yuo can do even more.and tomorrow I did ,As I was building up self confidence that I would not e ver fall again and was getting stronger. that mottoe I have used since after recovering from a terrible fall that this time broke my nose and twisted my right knee.

Well, I was a smoker a few years ago and decided to stop one day. I went smokeless for a couple of weeks but had an urge to smoke again. And then I met a friend and because of him and his words, I ain't smoking as of yet... He talked to me about how he was a smoker and how he managed to quit once and for all and told me that I should "never take advantage of the air I breathe". That changed everything and my perception about smoking and I'm now an happy quitter.

I always liked the morgan freeman 'shawshank redemption' line : 'fear can hold you prisoner, hope can set you free' or something along them lines. I also like 'Strictly Ballroom' : 'A life lived in fear, is a life half lived'.
