Can I earn with ebay?

I have a lot of things that I do not want and I am thinking to sell them on ebay. Have you made any money with it?
I have seen that there are many people claiming that they make a living from ebay, but I don't really think they are saying the truth. What do you believe?

I think that yes it is possible, you will get more clients depending on what you are selling, the quality of the product and the most important, the price.
If you sell a product at a rasonable price you will get more costumer=more sells.
I know many people that lives from ebay, but they have shops of toys, videogames and other stuff that can be selled trough internet and it tooked a lot of time to them to mae the business work.
