Let's talk about love,..online love ..and finally the airport experience

My heart is beating fast...as I crossed that pathway leading to the arrival area.I heard the announcement that the flight he is has finally landed.
I stand there, my eyes seeking that familiar figure I have bonded with for so many thousand hours online.And there he is, right in front of me...earth stood still, there's complete silence around me, his smile just froze me. He reach out his hands and embraced me and whispered something in my ears which i failed to hear for I was so mesmerized.
As we walked towards the parking area where a car awaits for us, I know he is watching my every movement.I wanted to look at the way he dress but I am just too shy to do so.
When we reached my house with my family waiting...I saw him so happy and excited to meet everyone. All throughout the first gathering, I look at his eyes and he looks back at me with tender look in his eyes.And i knew....his feelings hasn't changed just as mine didn't too.
I have loved the soul behind the opaque screen and I have love this person who went out of his way to go to a strange country and meet me and my family.

I have a friend (i just met her through online) and a guy friend who i met also in other site they been online couple for 2 years then the guy decided to meet her personally the airport scene last January 2011 was filled of excitement and tears when she heard the announcement of the flight she can't help not to cry after a minutes a familiar face we see on webcam showed up with a big smile on his face when he acrossed the street to meet us he can't help his self not to hug my friend so tight and he said FINALLY I AM HERE WITH YOU even it's not me i know the feeling the long wait was over and another airport scene will happen next year.

I tell you nothing can be so exciting than meeting this person whom you have been talking with for a long time.Online both just open ones self to the other, trying to be transparent as much as possible.
And now you wait there and recognizes him in the middle of the crowd and funny you can easily recognize him.Not because you know how he really dresses or how he really combs his hair.It is two souls meeting ...going beyond physical appearance.
You just know it is him.

wow lipstick...I met my now wife two years ago on the internet...we talked everyday for the whole two years. I remember our airport meeting like it was yesterday and she reacted very much like you say you did...well...happy ending...we have been married for about three months now and I have moved to the Philippines. We are soul mates and we are in our 50's.

It is really inspiring to know stories of successful online relationships.I am glad that you seem to be adjusting to our culture as you are the one that moved in here.You must be a very lucky guy,cause boasting aside, filipinas are nurturing. I wish the best for both of you and hope someday you will speak our language with so much ease.Love really knows no boundaries.You just dont know that you will meet your soul mates in places thats seems so strange and mysterious.

Woww..Congratulations.. I also meet my partner on the internet. We've been together for almost 3 years already. We always been talking about the airport scene when we first met and we keep on laughing about it COz he saw me shaking hahaha...

Some of this disscusion answers made me smile and joy tears in my eyes, because i cant wait when i will have this moment in my life. And i always imagine what i will do? What feelings i will have? Wow great going and congrts. Did not believe in this kind of relations until a friend at my work place experienced the same. He meat this girl from Colombia and now now after knowing each other for about 2 months they have decided to get marrried.. Amazing. good luck always be with you and your better half and may god shower his blessings on your entire family
