And it was a beautiful wedding. The bride was so pretty and the ceremony was very nice. Then they had a nice reception afterwards. Everytime I go to a wedding it makes me want to come home and just love on my husband for some reason. lol I think it just brings back memories of when we got married almost 8 years ago. I would like to have a ceremony on our 10th year anniversary to renew our wedding vows but I don't know if we will do that or not. Do you enjoy going to weddings or would you rather stay at home and not attend the wedding that you are invited to?

I hope we get to renew our vows too. I think that is very special. My husband's cousin did that and we went and it was very sweet.

I'm going to a wedding this weekend. It's for a relative I've never met but it's supposed to be the wedding of the century in the town he lives. He's a minister of a huge church and everyone is invited supposed to be a huge deal. Just a huge spectacle if you ask me. I only go to weddings for the cake. I love cake.

I have only attended a few weddings and yeah, the ritual is nice but I don't like receptions!^^ The weddings I've been to are all morning weddings so receptions are usually towards lunch and the venue are open air so it's hot and I don't like hot weather.^^ At times like that, I'd rather be eating at home.^^
But weddings are really nice and I hope I can experience that, walking in the aisle and everything.^^

I don't think I've ever been to a morning wedding. All the ones I've been to have been in the afternoon and evening.

I enjoy going to weddings, I always have enjoyed it. I have a cousin who got married yesterday. I already had other plans so didn't get to make it to the wedding but did get to some of the reception. It was a blast.

I'm sure your cousin was glad that you were able to make it to the reception and share in their big day.

So far all the weddings I have attended have been so very lovely. I do enjoy watching all the attendees all dressed up and having a good time. The bride has always had a wonderful glow and looking so happy on her special day.
I wonder if this why it brings back so many lovely memories for you too. You perhaps remember the wonder moment when you and he said I do. So coming home and seeing your husband after the wonderful occasion allows you to be so pleasantly happy.
I have enjoyed quite a few that my boyfriend and I have attended, it makes for such a happy and joyous occasion that he and i were allowed to share in.
Good luck and hope you do get to celebrate and renew your vowels but if not there is always another year and of course the wonderful many more you and he will share together.

I think weddings do make me think about when we said "I do" so it brings back good memories.

It's nice to hear that you had a great time on your friend's wedding. If I were to get married, I would be really glad to hear those kind words from my guests.
Yes, i do love going to wedding ceremonies and the party after that. It just makes me feel so happy to know that two people are in love and getting married. it makes me want to believe in love more. I am not one those bitter people who doesn't want to go to weddings due to past experiences or just because they do not believe in marriage.

It does make you happy when you see 2 people so much in love that they want to give their lives to each other. I think it's wonderful.

I do enjoy going to weddings. I always have a good time at the reception because everyone is usually in a good mood and there is lots of talking and dancing and just a lot of fun. It is time I get to spend out with my husband where we can just dance and have fun so it is often romantic to be at a wedding and being out like I am out on a date with my husband.

Hi. sweetgirl_k1. Yes, I would enjoy going to a wedding. I have been invited to a wedding before and I also was supposed to be in the wedding too. But the bride, changed her mind somehow, because she let someone else be in her wedding instead. I don't understand what happened till this day. But I am not going to worry about it though. I am glad that you have enjoyed attending your friends wedding and reception My husband and I have been married for nine years now. I hope that we can renew our marriage vows too, but I doubt that this will happen, because July 12th is next month. Maybe he will surprise me with a special and beautiful gift, who knows?

A wedding is always a great occasion, I love how everybody's all dressed up for it but more than the ceremony, I love the party afterwards. I'm not really the romantic type so the food at the reception and the program during the reception are what I really look forward to. Sometimes there's a lot of dancing and singing and I really enjoy those.
