for me,I don't think it's moral.. You know, you work, you get paid, that's the rule.. but for me, honestly,I do personal things during the work time.. as my company is different from the others,we often have to work overtime,so we don't have enough personal time ..and the company doesn't pay for our overtime work.. so to compensate my personal time, sometimes I usd some work time... what do you think?

Our boss doesn't actually mind if we do non-job related stuff in our office as long as we do our jobs diligently and we do not have back logs on our side. I am performing well in my work so my boss don't mind if he see me playing game or browsing facebook.

It depends on what you mean about private things. In my work place, it's okay to do non-work-related stuff because we usually don't have anything to do. My co-workers would surf the net and similar activities on the computer while I use my own laptop. When there's work to do, we don't do any non-work-related stuff until it's finished. Our superiors don't seems to mind that we do personal things.

while for me,to steal a moment of leisure under the pressure of heavy workload is acceptable and i thinks sometimes helpful to increase the work efficency,so immoral things doesn't exsit in this matter,on the contrary many government officials, civil servants instead stealing a moment of work time under unscrupulous leisure or personnal things i think is immoral and shameless, some scandals have been exposed to public not long ago on TV...
